Best Family Style Restaurants in Southwest Portland

my husband and I decided to try this restaurant on recommendation of a local. It did not disappoint. Some of the best southern food we have had. Ambience was great, service was quick and food was absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed 

Eating at Shalom Y" all is always a happy experience. Their menu is filled with farm-fresh delights that feature exotic Middle Eastern flavors. We always leave feeling like we ate a little too much and smiling about our incredible dinner

First time here, concierge at the hotel recommended it, and we are glad they did!

The food is always delicious, especially the fried chicken and roasted cauliflower. Oh, and do not forget one of the two, hummus with fresh hot pita bread. Will be back next week!

This was our first time dining at Nostrana. We had tickets to a concert at Revolution Hall that evening and had decided to have a light dinner beforehand, so we made a reservation. We were politely greeted and shown to our table. We found the restaurant to be attractive and upscale, yet it felt comfortable and welcoming. Our server, Ben, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout our visit. Our drink and food orders all arrived within a reasonable time. We really enjoyed the radicchio salad -- it's a standout. We're fans of wood-fired pizza, and we were very pleased with the fresh flavors of the mozzarella cheese and the tomato sauce, as well as the delicious pizza crust. All in all, our visit was delightful. We look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.
