Best Family Style Restaurants in Sorrento Mesa

We had a wonderful experience for a galentines night out! The ambiance is gorgeous, service was attentive, and the food was amazing with unique flavors. Recommend ordering one of each pasta family style!

Sitting at the chef's table, we had a view of the kitchen which was so cool! Seeing their work flow and how fast they came together to put beautiful orders up at the pass was a mix of entertaining and inspiring. We really loved the sunday supper option, the beef taretare with egg yolk emulsion and rye bread, the tomato mozzarella stracciatella, the perfect sourdough and the chicken ballotine. We ended up ordering three desserts, our favorite being the baked alaska that was flambeed in front of us with grande marnier. Super impressive and perfect for date night!

We always enjoy Davanti. Especially appreciate so many fantastic vegetable options and that they now offer zero proof options for many of their cocktails. Service is always terrific and very friendly.

We were greeted as we came in and were seated right away as we had our reservation. Service was great. Food was delicious and of course company was amazing. Thank you from creating such a beautiful setting to enjoy special times with our special people.
