Best Family Style Restaurants in Plaza / Brookside

Our waitress Sarah was amazing! So sweet, so friendly, so helpful. Told her it was my grandma's birthday and she decorated her dessert with a candle. The food is phenomenal - once in a lifetime; the way food ought to be. Try the pear ravioli, but really, there's no wrong choice on the menu. Definitely a must-visit during restaurant week and for any special occasion, but if you want a good time, book weeks in advance!

Such a great time during restaurant week. The service, food, atmosphere, drinks and especially the jazz trio were everything I’d hoped for on a special date night with my wife. This is a special place!

Each of our dishes was delicious and beautifully presented! Our server was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed everything about our experience in your beautiful restaurant except for the difficulty in finding parking anywhere nearby. The choice to use valet parking is not something we consider most places we eat in the greater Kansas City area. If you purchased spaces that currently are reserved for valet parking, it would be much better got your patrons. We would be glad to pay a fee, but we do not want someone parking our car.

We always love Buca. We had Caesar salad, chicken parmesan, shrimp alfredo, and stuffed shells. Everything was delicious. The service is always good as well. It can get a little bit loud at times just due to large parties, but it doesn't bother us. I would highly recommend.

We had a great seat and they fixed a mistake and gave us a free chocolate cake slice. Pepper steak was excellent
