Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. The restaurant was founded in 1895 on rue de la Coutellerie, a street that owes its name to the many active cutlers. Its current name is more recent, no doubt due to the offbeat humour of one of its previous owners! Far from being a trap, Le Coupe Gorge offers a warm atmosphere, typical of old Parisian establishments, and a friendly welcome.

Those who go through fashions and seasons without batting an eyelid and who never disappoint. Same generosity on the wine side with a menu as rich as it is well sourced. Placing conviviality at the heart of its selection, the team made the bold bet of large containers with, rare, a beautiful choice of magnums and Jeroboam: festive bottles predestined for large tables.
