The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! Very bustling restaurant even though a Sunday. The customer service was exemplary despite how busy it was. Add to that great quality food and makes it a place I shall return to when next in the area.

We had a lovely evening but the steak was a bit vainy and tough. I was also with two people with hearing aids and the acoustics was not very good and they could not hear as it was too loud.
