With stunning views and multiple fireplaces, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, deck overlooking the Great South Bay, and both an indoor tavern room and a waterfront bar, The Lakehouse is touted by many as “one of the best restaurants on Long Island.” At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails.     We were visiting from Florida and it was my birthday. The food was fabulous! The service was amazing!! The staff were friendly and the view was beautiful!! We come to Long Island every year and we DEFINITELY be back!! 5 stars all the way!!! Looking forward to next year.

    We ordered the filet steak, and the rib steak on the bone as well as the side order of shrimp and all and all it was delicious . we will return our waitress was very nice she explained the difference in steaks which made it easy to choose the right one thank you

    Whalers never disappoints! Drinks were great. I had the special Margarita which was delicious so I had two! We got the Feta appetizer. Great to have an appetizer that is something different and not fried. We all shared it and everyone loved it. I ordered the Shrimp Parpedella and it was flavorful with plenty shrimp. I couldn't finish it so I had it for lunch. Sitting outside is so welcome after the winter. This is one of my favorite restaurants.
