Best Comfort Food Restaurants in East St. Louis, Illnois

Food was better than I have had in awhile. Haven’t been for about 3 years. Service was good, waiter slightly slow, ambience was good but tables were a bit tight and close together on upper level. They can do better with that. Otherwise it was a great time celebrating my sisters birthday.

Our first time and definitely not the last! Food was superb, server was friendly and knowledgeable, great place for seafood and steaks. Thank you for a great night out, and we will be back!

Food was excellent and service was equally excellent! We were here on a Saturday night for a show at the Fox and we planned accordingly and made a reservation 2 hrs before show time. If you have tickets for the show, understand that everyone in the restaurant on show nights is attending the show. Sam, Meghan, and Emily, and the entire Commonwealth crew go above and beyond!

Our server was friendly & attentive. And we had good conversations with him!

Fully out-met my expectations! Food was delicious - salads, tartine, sandwiches, entrees, and drinks - yum! The menu was varied, making it hard to decide. Our server was absolutely lovely, and you could tell she loved working there. Heading back soon!
