Best Casual Restaurants in Watchung

Food was once again excellence and we had a great time with our server Ed. This is a professionally run establishment, kudos to the staff!

We love this place, the food is really good and the service is always great.

The food and drinks were excellent and the service was very good. The servers tried very hard to make sure that we were served promptly and that everyone in our party got exactly what we ordered. The restaurant was a little louder than what we are used to but that is just the character of the venue. The two little wrinkles were something we have never seen before: 1. It is assumed that all guests are using a credit card and if you pay cash, the onus is on the customer to deduct the convenience fee from the bill. 2. We did pay by cash and the bill came to almost $600. When our server came to pick up our check and payment, she stood there at the table and counted the money in front of us instead of going off to the side or in the back to do so. That was offensive. We are a group of professional women who go out together once a month and choose a different restaurant each time. We tip well. There was no reason to treat us in such a suspicious manner. As the “host” of this month’s outing, I received excellent feedback on the food and the service but felt it important to note these two dings.

This restaurant is fantastic! Not only is the food high-quality and very tasty, you are able to bring your own wine and enjoy with your family. The interior is very beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly and kind.
