Los creadores de Sweet Basil en Vail Colorado abrieron las puertas de un nuevo establecimiento en diciembre del 2012. Qué mejor nombre que Mountain Standard; esta taberna rústica y relajada tiene como objetivo establecer un nuevo estándar en el valle de Vail mediante el uso de antiguas técnicas culinarias. La mayoría de los menús de Mountain Standard son preparados con el método de cocción más tradicional: a fuego vivo.
