- JJOHNAPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025We had heard of a new restaurant in Shelton, CT called Mercato, but couldn't get in - so we decided to try the Southbury location. The menu had something for everyone, but we especially enjoyed the Wood Fired Olives to start. Whipped Ricotta was also very good, but I believe I'd like the fig jam on the side rather than on top of the ricotta (it was very good, but I think I would have liked to control the amount of jam personally). Our waitress was very attentive, drinks and meals served promptly and more importantly, the dinners were piping hot and very fresh. Cacio E Pepe with bucatini was amazing, just the right amount of creaminess and pepper and the Fettuccini Carbonara also an excellent choice. Desserts were heavenly (cannoli super fresh), cappuccino and espresso strong and hot! Overall and excellent happy accident and we will definitely be back - and hope to try the amazing looking pizzas!More infoMercato Italian Kitchen and Bar - SouthburyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Southbury•4.5
- MMarciaConnecticut •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024Always check out the specials first…. Tambascio’s does delicious seafood dishes. I especially like the salmon on lightly sautéed spinach and garlic. The steak is of extremely good quality and cooked just as you’d like it. Comfortable atmosphere in this small gem and very nice in the atrium. Small salad to go with entree is a nice addition to menu choices. Staff is wonderful. Great to see John and have enlightened conversation. A friendly location we like to frequent.More infoTambascios Italian GrillPrice: Moderate• Italian• Bethel•4.8

The cocktails were out of this world and the Chef and culinary team’s food was the BEST we’ve had in the area. We can’t wait to return.More infoMarygold'sPrice: Very Expensive• American• Newtown•4.3
