Best Casual Restaurants in Oakland

Went for Lala's taco Tuesday and was not disappointed! Everything was so good, my cousins and I enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be back again! Better to make a reservation so you can guarantee your seating.

Absolutely amazing. We shared a bunch of crudo and small plates, and every single one was off the charts. The service was a little slow, but staff were very responsive as soon as we flagged them (and also, they had been open less than a week...some ramp up time makes sense!). Would definitely, definitely go back. I hope this place is around for a long time - it's great!

Absolutely love their pizza and the wedge salad was delicious. But most of all their cocktails have always been a solid foundation (we had the Manhattan and old-fashioned). Our service was outstanding…whereas the competition down the street is some of the worse I’ve seen. Opportunity for improvement: It’s time to refinish the tables. It seem that the cleaning product may have eaten away at the finish, causing him to be slightly sticky.
