Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. Bookings and Walk-Ins available.

    Blacklock offers premium food at very reasonable prices. The service and the ambience are excellent with personable and knowledgeable staff, providing great recommendations. Highly recommend Blacklock, the steaks, steak pie, side dishes and desserts were all equally delicious and we will definitely return when next in Manchester. Thank you to Gordon and the team for such well executed customer service.

    Decent overall. 2 of the 7 dishes wasn’t that good but the rest was fine. Not to bad price wise. The chicken wings on the special was the best dish.

    I had stop going because I found the restaurant it self cold to sit in even though the food was great so we decided to give it another try and it was great the place was nice and warm n the food was just how I remember it the soup was piping hot and the bbq ribs were beautiful I had chicken n pineapple which was great my friend has chicken curry we will certainly be going back
