- LLeticiaSan Antonio •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur dinner was for a special night, our 19th wedding anniversary. The service started off slow but once we got his attention he was on top of it. He offered great recommendations to start. But I had already glanced over the menu and knew what I wanted to drink and eat. We started with an appetizers (Chefs 4 favorites) which had a little bit of everything. The queso and chips were our favorite, warm cheese mixed with a bit of spice and topped with chorizo! Coming in a close second was their onion rings (the seasoning on it was amazing), then the fried green tomatoes and lastly elk crispy tacos. They also provided dipping sauce that complimented each item perfectly. Our main entrees were the star of the show. I had the 13oz ribeye, topped with cilantro steak butter (you can choose from different ones) sided with chimichurri rice (WHAT?!) My steak was cooked to perfection (medium of course) with the perfect amount of salt ratio and that creamy cilantro butter was the cherry on top. My spouse got the classic Chicken Fried Steak with mash and green beans. He really enjoyed it. He loves stick to your ribs kind of meals and this one STUCK! The green beans I thought were perfectly seasoned with onion and garlic. (little more on the garlic side which I love). All our drinks were also delicious and refreshing. Complimented our meal nicely. We started with a Frozen Texas Tea and a jalapeno margarita on the rocks. We later moved on to Haywire Texas pour old fashion and ranch water. Finally I ended with a red blend wine from right here in Texas! So yummy! I hope this place stays around for the long haul, because we will definitely be going back!More infoHaywire - La CanteraPrice: Expensive• American• La Cantera•4.5
