- MMichaelNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOne of my fave restaurants in NYC. The food is phenomenal and you can tell the staff all move like they know the restaurant is something special. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. We were mistakenly given an order of Brussel sprouts (for free!) that our waiter let us keep — and I don’t know if i can go again without actually ordering it. The pork belly small plate is so rich in flavor — and the endless rice lets you soak up all the delicious broths and sauces. Especially the red curry noodles. The sticky ribs were my favorite bite. I’m just counting down the days until I can rationalize going back and trying the duck. 10/10More infoPig and Khao - UWSPrice: Moderate• Southeast Asian• Upper West Side•4.6

- DDeAndraNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jul 4, 2025ALTAIR MEANS STAR….HOW APPROPRIATE! FROM THE MINUTE THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPENED, THE STAR TREATMENT BEGAN! WE WERE GREETED BY MIGUEL, THE GM. HIS WELCOMING SMILE ASSURED US THAT WE WERE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. FAROUK, LOOKING RED CARPET READY, ESCORTED US TO OUR AMAZING ROOFTOP SEATS. AND THE PARTY WAS JUST GETTING STARTED. GABBY & DANIELLA, OUR AWESOME WAITRESSES, OFFERED SUGGESTIONS AND MADE SURE THAT OUR GLASSES WERE NEVER EMPTY AND OUR STOMACHS STAYED FULL! THE WATERMELON COCKTAIL WAS THE DRINK THAT NIGHT….I HAD 4! DELICIOUS! HAMACHI, SPICY SAUSAGE PIZZA, PULLED PORK SLIDERS, BRISKET, CHEESES THAT TASTED AS IF THEY WERE FLOWN IN THAT MORNING AND THE LIST GOES ON. EACH DISH SURPASSED THE NEXT…..THERE WERE FIREWORKS IN THE SKY AND IN OUR PALATES! FLAVORS THAT LEFT US WANTING MORE, WHILE NOT BEING ABLE TO SWALLOW ANOTHER BITE. BUT WE DID….LOL. BECAUSE IT WAS DESSERT TIME!!!! CHOCOLATE BROWNIE THAT MADE US SHIVER….A BERRY TART, TOPPED WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND A HONEY VINAIGRETTE, YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT, AND TIRAMISU……I’M SMILING FROM THE MEMORY. MERCET AND JOSUE STAYED NEARBY TO ASSURE THAT WE WERE ALWAYS GOOD. AND WE WERE!! IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE SUMMER, TAKE YOURSELF AND THOSE YOU LOVE TO THE ROOFTOP AT ALTAIR. YOU CAN THANK US LATER. AND TO THE STAFF…..AGAIN, WE SAY THANK YOU FOR A DINING EXPERIENCE THAT RANKS AMONG THE FINEST WE’VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF ENJOYING.
