"I have always wanted to try eight11, and I finally had the opportunity to do so. I went with my husband, on a much needed date night, he works out of town and date nights are rare. The employees were very friendly upon arrival, even commenting on my appearance.{they liked my dress}. We got to our table and the server made some great drink suggestions. We ordered the salmon board which was delicious, except I wish it would of came with more cream cheese. I was in the mood for a another drink, and asked the server to recommend something light. She recommended a drink with champagne and a sugar rim. The drink looked good but when I tasted it, I realized to was salt on the rim and not sugar.UGGG! kind of ruined the champagne. When I brought it to the servers attention, she apologized and told me they had mixed up the salt and sugar. I was ok with that honest mistake. However I was disappointed that the server did not offer to get me another drink. I did not complain, just moved the drink aside. We then ordered dinner. The jalepeno popper pizza . So yummy!!! We ended the meal with a beer flight, which was very good, all were beers suggested by the server, she knew her products, a plus in my world. My most disappointing part of the dinner, was that when we received the check, the drink that contained salt that I did not drink but one sip was still on my check. I might can understand not offering to replace it, but making me pay for it was just sad. I will recommend this place to a friend, but maybe teach your servers to address mistakes made."See more
