Best Casual Restaurants in West 7th Corridor

Great ambiance, GREAT service, EXCELLENT food!! I hope they find some noise abatement solutions to make the vibe less loud and more intimate. We will be back but will have to be careful about who we bring, not all of our friends/family enjoy an environment as loud as this (music wasn’t the issue - could barely hear it, the problem was just a lot of people in small-ish space and noise bouncing around)

We love having lunch there. My chicken salad sandwich was exceptional. Would go back just for that! (We live in Houston).

It was fantastic as usual! Evelyn is a phenomenal server and I appreciate this team always being so accommodating of my monthly lunch group and my not knowing how many will show!!! The food is always fantastic and the service is perfect. Could not ask for a better spot!

This was our first time at La Cabrona and it did not disappoint! I had one of my favorite dishes that is rarely on menus, enchilada rojas (not like tex-mex enchiladas), and they were delicious. The birria tacos and carne asada dishes were very tasty too and the meat perfectly cooked and tender. I had El Nopal and La Rosa cocktails and they were so good! I love the variety in the menu (dishes that are on the more traditional side) and they have great cocktails. We were a party of five and we were seated promptly. The host and our server were excellent and the space is beautifully done.

First time to Social House, too cold to sit outside and the inside is almost like a mid scale sports bar. The service was great, our waiter helped us choose appetizers and drinks for the table. We got the angry shrimp as an appetizer and they are HOT but delicious.
