Bird & Co. is a great choice for a restaurant that's away from the crowds of downtown Portland yet close enough to arrive in minutes. The ambiance is casual, friendly, mellow, and easy. The staff is friendly and the food is great. You'll want to do a face plant in the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with wonderful sauce.

We had a great experience. We ate in the outdoor pods/ igloo and it was fun. They were warm and charming. Our waiter Drew was great. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for downtown Portland.
