Best Casual Restaurants in Exeter

We sat at the bar. The bartender was excellent, with great service, food, and drinks.

Music was very, very loud. We were unable to hold a conversation across the table. We requested the music be turn down but the wait staff it was not possible. Really ruined the evening.

Everything was excellent, service, food and environment. I am hearing-impaired and our booth was away from most of the other customers so it was much easier for me to hear the others in my group.. We will be back.

Excellent seafood, little pricey but worth it. We will definitely be back !

We had a very enjoyable outing at Epoch last night. Our party of four booked for 6 pm. The bar and dining room were pretty busy when we arrived and throughout the evening. Our knowledgeable and affable server Jess took great care of us. We couldn't help but notice a couple of large groups that might normally put pressure on the dining room. We observed the staff helping each other out to share in bringing the service levels up to meet the demand. We were also impressed to see management rolling up its sleeves. Food and beverages were excellent. Knowing the restaurant's reputation for its salmon, all four of us ordered the savory dish. Epoch did not disappoint. We often find Epoch a great spot for Sunday brunch, but it should also be considered a hot spot for dinner.
