Best Casual Restaurants in Edwardsville

We visited Hereford House on a Monday night and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The restaurant was nearly empty, which we expected on a Monday—but the vibe felt more closed-up than relaxed. The steak I ordered came out overcooked, which was disappointing, especially for a steakhouse. Toward the end of our meal, the staff turned off the music, which made it feel like they were trying to usher us out. Service was polite, but overall, the food and atmosphere didn’t live up to expectations.

The Easter Brunch Buffet was outstanding. A fantastic variety of breakfast and lunch items were available. The prime rib was tender and cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and checked on our table frequently. Great food! Great service! Great price!

We had a great time. Not a lot of Christmas decor, but the drinks and pretzel were great. Service was outstanding. So friendly and nice. Will be back.
