Enjoy dining in our art filled main dining room and open kitchen. Brunch every Sunday 11-3. Weather permitting, alfresco dining on our shaded patio is very popular. Our emphasis is on preparing and presenting dishes reflecting the highest culinary sophistication accompanied by wines and wine service of comparable excellence. Expect full-service refined dining in a warm and friendly atmosphere welcoming tourists, local residents and winemakers.     We truly enjoyed dining in Hayward’s gorgeous new space in Carlton. Small plates featured lovely complex flavors - some were unexpected, like the chitarra pasta with clams, harissa, and lamb stock - delicious! Two other favorites were the seafood cake and the roasted mushrooms with ricotta and beets. Don’t overlook the focaccia and koji butter.

    Lovely little spot- great oysters! We also had Caesar salad and the prawn fettuccine Alfredo. The latter had more pesto than I would have liked but my husband thought it was wonderful. Great service!

    One of the best dinners we have ever had. Everything was delicious and th service was great. I had the Halibut and it was nice and moist with a Loveage sauce. The Roasted Beet salad was perfect with toasted hazelnuts (we call them Filberts here in Oregon). The Charcueterie plate was full of flavorful items, especailly the apricot jam. Everything they serve is from their farm, so fresh and flavorful! Highly recommended.

    The Appetizers were beautiful, and the fish course was wonderful. The Lamb is exceptional as well. The Porchetta was beyond exceptional as well. The only thing that was kind of off was the pasta, which was very thick and chewy. Filling was good though.
