Family lunch in the Hitchin heatwave today. Huge appreciation to the staff who made our visit enjoyable. Big shout out to Stuart/Stewart who was fabulous, helpful, friendly and professional despite the heat, he must have been melting! Thank you! Food and drink excellent as always. Lussmans is a lovely and reliable restaurant and we always enjoy going. ps if you haven’t tried the pineapple carpaccio you’re missing out!

I had an exceptional experience at this establishment! The service was outstanding, attentive, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The Hugo cocktails were crafted to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I can’t wait to return for another delightful visit. Highly recommend.

Super value early evening menu, fantastic quality - I had the heirloom and whipped feta salad followed by the saffron risotto - to die for!!!

The staff were helpful and smiling. The choice of food was minimal but the quality of it made up for it! It was delicious! As it was my husband's birthday, we were not charged for the glass of wine he had (very nice touch!). This place is a little gem and great for special occasions especially 😊

Superb pub - welcoming staff, fantastic food and great atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and the menu choice was excellent - and reasonably price too! The pub is situated in a lovely village with a fab garden as well. We will definitely return!
