My wife and I had dinner at the hotels main restaurant on a Thursday evening. The dining area is open air and relatively non-descript but relaxing. We did not expect much for a hotel restaurant, but we were very pleasantly surprised. My wife had the ribeye. I had the seafood pasta. Both were Excellent. We also appreciated our server, Brian. We returned for a second meal last night. I had the Smashburger and my wife had a small steak plate. We especially liked the small steak appetizer. There are many chain restaurants within walking distance, but I think the food here is really worthwhile.

A Feast for the Senses at Kahuwai Bay Perched high above the crystalline waters of Kahuwai Beach and Bay, this Rosewood property offers more than just a meal — it offers a reverie. Mauka Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. They have some of the “ tastiest food “  I’ve ever had! The wine selection is good and the wait staff is consistently checking on you. Don’t miss this place if you’re on the Big Island.
