Best Brunch Restaurants in Forest Gate

Well yet another delicious brunch at grind this morning on a wet and rainy Saturday morning. Greenwich was for a change quiet as was grind which is usually packed on the 11 o’clock slot that we chose! Full English for my companion and myself the bacon I’ve waxed lyrical about in previous reviews, but it was even more succulent and toothsome in this instance. Sitting down and accommodating a change of table to a corner seat we proceeded to order our coffee and food from the delightful and radiant Tia (the tattoo “Leo” on her arm refers to her star sign not her name as I found out! Actually, Tia has a number of very discreet and tasteful tattoos and if you understand Roman numerals it will help you to decipher one or two of them!) But back to the food! As usual, delicious coffee flat white amazing sausage, mushroom etc! Difficult to single out the staff at grind because they’re all excellent lovely people but today it was Tia so I will sing her praises again and say thanks for the massive smiles and customer service and some witty chatty banter which is always welcome so thank you Tia! We will be back!

I had a great time celebrating my birthday the food and drinks were delicious, and the service from the waitstaff was exceptional, attentive, and efficient throughout the night. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the outstanding MC/host. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to make me feel special keeping the energy high, and making sure I was looked after all night. His charisma, crowd control, and ability to read the room set the tone for the entire event. Without him, the vibe wouldn’t have been the same he brought the whole night to life and made it one to remember. If you’re thinking of booking or celebrating a special occasion here, trust me the MC makes all the difference.

Incredibly welcoming, fun, and friendly staff – they truly made our visit special. Delicious hot drinks and great vegan options. Lovely atmosphere, with a beautiful outdoor space and stunning views of the city. A true hidden gem.

Had brunch at the roof top restaurant after watch Richard Branson on Instagram visit this Virgin Hotel while in the UK! Really loved the vibe a roof top pool in central London in 26C heat - perfect. Great food and the staff were great. Great spot for summer dining and chill out. Would stay there next time in London.
