Best Authentic Restaurants in Winchelsea

This is the second time we have eaten at La Delizia and just as good second time around. Food is excellent and you can have small plates such as Antipasti or larger meal if you prefer and if you want to top up with some authentic Italian goodies, then cheese, meats, olives, tinned items, dried pasta, sweet items available. Lovely ambience, friendly and helpful staff. It's only small inside - can eat outside as well - so on a weekend probably advisable to book. No hesitation in recommending La Delizia, will be going back.

It was a nice although my husbands dish didn’t have much chicken in it which was mentioned, an apology was received.

Delicious, imaginative food, beautifully prepared and presented. Charming and helpful service, pleasant ambience - and good choice of music! Particularly delighted with the homemade bread and Marmite butter (which really works) and the little amuse-bouche of salt cod fishcake and Romeso sauce. My husband had the lamb 3 ways and we both agreed this was the best dish - but everything was wonderful.
