Best Authentic Restaurants in Central West End

Excellent all around. Our server was very young, but she was outstanding - knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The portions are very large. Salads can easily be shared. The place was very busy, but everything still came out perfect. The halibut special was a real standout.

Excellent as always, we come to STL multiple times a year sometimes just to eat at Charlie’s, we love the food love the service we will be back next time we are in town

Two nights in a row, and both nights were fantastic. I went with a nice bottle of Chianti and it was great. Pea soup and midnight pizza rounded out the early dinner. Perfect way to end a business trip! Can’t wait to get back to town again for another great experience at this amazing restaurant.

Our waiter was totally great and intuitive to the needs of our 2 little granddaughters. Food was very tasty!

Three of us ordered different entrees. All were excellent especially the seafood and very unexpectedly large portions- so lots to take home. Our waiter was easy to work with as we were having fun and requesting information about many items. The owner stopped by as well. We hope to return soon.
