The Blue Bonnet Restaurant8. The Blue Bonnet Restaurant0.5 mi

Mexican | Baker,

"As first time visitors to Blue Bonnet we really did not know what to expect. The only valid stick against which to measure was our experience at other Mexican restaurants. We generally avoid this kind of restaurant as they are usually way over-priced for what you get. We made reservations for a party of 2 at 8 pm on a Friday. In any case, they had plenty of staff on duty, we were seated quickly and our waiter was attentive. I ordered the Tacos al Carbon and my wife ordered the Seafood Enchiladas. I should have known better than to order anything containing steak as I have visited Mexican restaurants around the world and none of them know how to cook a steak and keep it tender (I spent a lot of time chewing). The enchiladas, on the other hand, were heavenly. The portions were plentiful, so we actually had some leftovers. The dishes were slightly more affordable than many of the chain restaurants, so that was a pleasant surprise. It was a good experience over all. We want to go back and try their Happy Hour which has a number of inexpensive eats and drinks. Overall, we enjoyed Blue Bonnet."See more

Indian | Downtown / LoDo,

"I have long enjoyed the buffet lunches at Little India, when I tend to eat most everything offered, but I prefer dinners for two or more ordered off the menu so we can share a smaller selection of items in more depth. It's authentic and offers real value for the cost."See more
