   Every moment of our dining experience at FARMbloomington was exquisite. From wine and appetizers to dessert, every course was beyond delicious, beautifully plated, and delivered with perfect timing by gracious, friendly servers. Chef Orr has succeeded in creating a space with upscale food but a decidedly unstuffy, relaxing atmosphere.

   This was our first time dining at the Farm. We came from Indian Otto attend the opera and wanted to eat before the performance. Everything was first rate - we were greeted by many friendly faces. My husband enjoyed talking bourbon with Doug and our waiter Joey was personable, funny and we will definitely ask to be at one of his tables next time we come.

   The filet and prime rib were amazing. The sides were different but pretty good. It was very loud in the back room due to a large group and the design of the room. You couldn’t hear yourself think it was so loud. I will probably ask to sit in the front next time. Good experience other than the noise.

    We had a 7pm reservation on Saturday Jan 25th. We did not get our food until nearly 9pm. We had multiple conversations with our server (who was great) and the manager. The manager tried to make excuses for why our food was delayed but the server did tell us it was due to being short a cook. When our food did arrive we were missing parts of the order - no pickles - no bacon jam...etc. We also had an order of salmon that was under cooked and served skin side up, not very appetizing. It was a really disappointing experience. We had heard such great things about it from our daughter that goes to IU and were excited to try it.

    Service was excellent, and the vibe was great! Kitchen was pretty slow, but we were visiting with out of town family and didn't mind the wait. They were definitely very busy! Food was excellent when it came out, and was definitely hot 'n fresh. Always recommend to anyone visiting, just take into account that game weekends can cause issues occasionally!

    Very popular place. Came for brunch. Cool/interesting layout and food is good. I thought slightly pricy for what you get but everything is more expensive these days. Waiter provided excellent service. If there on a busy weekend, as we were, you definitely need a reservation. Have an IU student there and will definitely come back next time in town.

    We went for Valentine’s dinner. It was a set menu at $59 a person. Appetizer was so-so. One of us had the soup. It was good. One of us had the lettuce salad. It wasn’t very good. Some of the lettuce was brown. Not much dressing. Pork lion and salmon were both very good. Dessert was good. Overpriced for the meal. Tables too close together. Servers kept hitting our table as they passed.

    We loved the service and ambiance but found the food options on the menu to be pretty difficult for gluten and dairy free ordering. Our server helped us but in general would love to see options meeting these needs. The hot tea options were delicious, the decor super upbeat and fun, and our server was over the top amazing and friendly.

    Waited over an hour for our food today (brunch) only to have it arrive lukewarm. On top of that, only eggs they would serve were scrambled (no poached or fried eggs despite being on the menu). First time visit based on recommendations. Will not be back.

    Farm is usually good, but last night 2/10/23 was not good at all. We ordered sat for an hour having drinks and an appetizer when they discovered they ran out of several entree items one was what I ordered. The manager handled the situation very poorly. We don’t have it would you like to order something else? No real communication no real apology. Just weird and then the service got worse. All in all not a good experience.

    The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and professional. The ambiance could be improved with more mature farm-inspired decor to fit the high quality food, but overall it was a wonderful experience. I will surely be coming back!

    We were there for dinner prior to an IU basketball game. This was our first time with their new menu. My husband had the BLT and it was far above your standard sandwich stating with the bread and ending with the goat cheese. Also, there was amazing bacon in between! The puttanesca pizza was flavorful as well

    Such a disappointing visit to Farm, it was not our first but probably our last. Food was mediocre at best, we were seated in the back room which is sterile, our server was delightful - the only high light of the meal.

    We came down for an IU roommate reunion. Some of us have dietary restrictions. The server (Maggie or Mattie??) was SUPER friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great suggestions. The food was good for brunch. I have had better; however, it was yummy and HOT. I would definitely come back for the incredible service and the kitschy atmosphere. FARM is conveniently located on Kirkwood and the square. Super easy to walk to from our hotel.

    We enjoyed our meal at Farm. The cocktails and appetizers were nice. The service was friendly and prompt. The wine list was good and the waiter helped us with a nice selection. The entrees were fresh and prepared well. A must try spot in Bloomington.

    We had a truly lovely “farmhand” (server) tonight. My two family members had burgers “French Style” with sautéed onions and blue cheese on them, which they really liked. I had a pizza with mozzarella and pesto which was sub par in my book-the pesto was super oily and there wasn’t much mozzarella, the sauce was meh. BUT the cocktail was good and served in a super cool glass and we loved our server, so that more than balanced out the fair pizza. I really appreciate this place taking reservations and they have a really nice and clean ladies room, which matters a lot! (No mom visiting her son at college wants to have to use the restroom at their place!!) 😄

    We came from Virginia to tour IU with our son and ate here for dinner the first night. The setting is so unique and charming! The food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive. Will return if IU is the college he chooses!

    Unfortunately this came highly rated and was a huge disappointment. We were told multiple times it was an off night. That they were changing the menu and the kitchen was backed up. Our reservation was 715 and we did not get our food until over an hour later. The burgers were the food network award burgers and were cold and over cooked despite the chef recommended for medium rare. One did not even have the side with it. We were offered free dessert but they were out of the dessert we wanted and they even still put it on the check and comped it lol. It was all kind of crazy. Our waiter was young and new you could tell. We felt bad for him and he did the best he could so we tipped him well despite the hot mess but probably will not go back despite high recommendations. Drinks were good per my dining mates so maybe just head to the bar.

    We visited Farm on a Saturday night for dinner. Our meal and drinks were all very good! Our waiter however provided less than even average service. The restaurant was crowded the whole time we were there, so if he was obviously hustling we could make an exception. That did not seem to be the case though as he mostly appeared to be wandering around aimlessly. Everyone else we spoke with (bartender, hostesses) were friendly and helpful. The ambiance was just ok to us-maybe dimming the lights a bit at dinner would help. It just seemed way too bright inside. Overall, I’m glad we tried it and we will probably give it another try since the food was so good.

    Brough 3 new friends for Xmas treat all had never been . Lilly was great but needed help . More water , busing dishes and having things like at 103o run out of clementine jiucw for mimosas. She was pleasant and efficient , food quite tasty and presentation excellent!
