   I was able to spend Mother’s Day during the weekend of my son‘s graduation from IU. The food was so delicious! So diverse and fresh.

   Every single thing was excellent !!! The food , the ambiance , the red snapper Bloody Mary , the coffee, the waitress .. perfection!!! Thank you for a great send off from IU!!!

   Bery underwhelming Graduation menu. Ehorbitantly priced for the quality. The special mushroom soup was like water! Have been before and liked it but this was greatly disappointing end to graduation weekend

   Graduation weekend is challenging. Service was very slow despite the fact that the place was empty. We had 12:30 reservations and we sat down at 12:00. Almost all the tables were empty- clearly they spaced the reservation so they knew they wouldn’t get backed up. My point is despite the fact that it was empty, our food took forever. Special menu for this meal. Selection not that impressive. Food didn’t come out of the kitchen the way the menu described it. Just a disappointment all around. Have eaten there many times.

   We recently hosted a large family dinner at FARM Bloomington to celebrate a graduation, selecting it as our one formal meal during a busy weekend. While we were aware that FARM is on the more expensive side, we chose it for what we hoped would be a special, memorable evening. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The reservation was made six months in advance, and despite attempting to make changes four months prior, the restaurant was inflexible with adjustments. Our party was seated at 7:00 p.m., yet by the time we ordered, several key menu items were already unavailable. The kitchen was unable or unwilling to accommodate food allergies, and even basic requests like serving gravy on the side were declined. Service throughout the evening was disappointing. Menus remained on the table for the duration of the nearly three-hour meal, and used dishes were never cleared—even as dessert was served. To-go boxes for dessert were brought out 45 minutes before we actually received our desserts, and empty glasses went unnoticed. Despite the gratuity being included or paid in advance, the wait staff showed little attentiveness. One server even rolled her eyes when we tried to move plates to a nearby table ourselves, and she never returned to help clear them. On a positive note, the manager was gracious and sincerely apologetic. He clearly understood our concerns and tried to make amends, but by then the damage had been done. It was embarrassing to have to raise these issues in front of extended family during what was supposed to be a celebratory evening. Overall, FARM Bloomington did not deliver on the level of service or food quality expected at its price point. While the ambiance and concept are appealing, the operational issues—especially in the kitchen and with staffing—make it unsuitable for important events. I would not recommend it for a large gathering or special occasion.

   We were excited to try FARM after so many recommendations so we made a point to try it for graduation. My husband and son ordered the strip steak which was over-seasoned and too spicy for both of them. We had the Brie to start and it lacked flavor. It was disappointing all around.

   Graduation weekend so a set menu … but not actually that busy ? Sadly our food was all cold and service was so slow :( There were four of us and the bill was over $500 for the set menu of a not great salad, cold entree, and grocery store quality dessert. We’ve been before and it’s been so much better , but not sure we will return.
