Excellent service. Always had someone come by the table for service. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Appetizers are a delicious!

After eating in the past at NOLA, Emeril's was a massive disappointment. The food was clearly not up to the level of other restaurants in New Orleans (I spent the days prior touring a number a restaurants in the city and excited by the culinary experiences), and I would be embarrassed to put my name on the low level of food quality if I were Emeril. An example was the "soufflé", that had the consistency of a bad brownie and when I attempted to return to the kitchen, the waiter stated "yeah, I should have warned you, we hear that a lot about that dessert, I should have had you order something else". Way to protect me server from a bad menu. With so many fabulous restaurants in the city at similar price points, please for the sake or your date or taste buds, avoid this tourist trap. This is the first bad review I've ever felt compelled to write for a restaurant.

Honestly, I was disappointed - not in the food, which was very good, if a bit heavy and sweet for my taste, but in the experience. I had a reservation at the Food Bar but when I arrived, I was told that would be a 20 minute wait so I took a table. I had three different servers who didn’t communicate with each other. So, I asked one to hold the food until I had finished my cocktail (a perfect Sazerac) but another server brought the food when I was less than half done with the drink. Then after my appetizer, a third server asked if I would like anything else, although I had already ordered a main course. Now, I did over-order, but asked about my choices and got no hint on that. I don’t know if everyone had the same cavalier treatment or whether it was a “woman dining alone” thing but either way, it was not what I had hoped for or expected, as I had been looking forward to dining at Emeril’s. Three stars because the food was very good but I won’t likely go back.

We visit New Orleans several times per year and had not been to Emerils in quite a long time. Our first experience was average. We decided to give them another shot. This experience was also average. Service and attention are great . The restaurant is beautiful. However the food was only average and very overpriced in my opinion. Way to many options in New orleans to settle for a place with a great reputation. So far it has not lived up to its hype for us.

They forgot our anniversary even though we had told them st time of reservation. That was disappointing

I normally love this restaurant, but this time was not what we normally experience. Our main waiter was on top of us until we ordered, I felt rushed to make a decision. I ordered the tuna watermelon salad. It tasted wonderful, but I expected more greens than eight slivers of baby arugula on something called a salad, then a few pieces of watermelon and tuna... Green it up, they are cheap! My husband had the drum fish, wonderful! They made awesome chicken tenders for my little guy. My teen ordered they fried chicken, which did not compare to what we had at Emeril's NOLA restaurant. This was a whole lot of bland chicken with a bit of batter fried, but it slid right off. Pretty disappointing compared to past experiences which have always exceeded our expectations.
