Awesome We have been wanting to come here for years and it did not disappoint
Emiril Lagasse is my favorite chef so having the opportunity to dine at his restaurant is something I didn’t think I would have a chance to do.
This was one of the best meals ever! Herman and his team treated us like royalty- professional but amiable and with a nice sense of humor. The food was outstanding- the corn moque choux is out of this world. Grilled tuna melted in your mouth, swordfish was tender and tasty. A definite stop when in NOLA.
My daughter Chloe had lunch on Wednesday
July 18 while on vacationing in New Orleans. The restaurant and food was so much more than we imagined. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Service was great. The only issues is they were out of the beer we ordered and also one of the entries!
Long wait for entrees, cold food, bar
We loved the peaceful, welcoming ambiance of the restaurant. My husband ate the best soft shell crab of his life, and the BBQ shrimp were delicious!
The food was definitely delicious and there were some unique dishes but we had an issue with an ingredient that was not mentioned in the food and the way it was handled was very poor.
Delicious! Would recommend. Will be back.
Everything was good. One of the servers seemed to be trying to rush us but the other ones were Great. Food was wonderful
Our meal was good and the service was prompt, the only complaint I have is the very boisterous table just behind us. We couldn't hold a conversation at our table without shouting because of their noise level. This was my second meal at this restaurant and I will come back for a third time.
The experience was a complete disappointment. First our table had water coming down from the ceiling into a glass on the floor. The manager only moved us after we asked. Secondly the meal was mostly carbs with a tiny piece of protein placed on top of all the carbs with a price tag of $48 for a bone in filet which was mainly fat and bone. If we had 1 or 2 ounces of meat it would surprise me... terrible for what we paid.
One person in our party had special dietary needs thus it took them an extra long time to cook her meal without bell peppers... then when we finally received the meal the wait staff quickly grabbed the plate that was delivered incorrectly to our friend.. we all had our food and were eating while she waited even longer for the corrected plate of food. Other parties that were sat after us were all eating prior to us as well. I will not be returning to Emerils and my husband agrees with my assessment. Only because we did not want to make a scene since it was our friends birthday did we not call the manager back to our table. DO NOT ruin your special event by going to Emerils. I would recommend Mr B's or Commanders as both have delivered a great experience and those restaurants deserve the recognition vs Emeril's.
Delicious and innovative dishes. Outstanding and attractive staff
Truly outstanding experience. Food, service, attention to detail were outstanding. On the open table reservation I noted that my wife is a vegetarian and that we welcomed suggestions. When our waiter approached the table he was aware of the message and discussed her options. She said it was one of the best meals she has ever had. My meal was outstanding.
Top notch waitstaff ! The service and food were superb!
Spectacular service and the food was just over the top for flavor. Would highly recommend. Price was good for the quality of the food.
Most definitely a favorite in NOLA. Always a phenomenal experience. Never a disappointment. Thank you!
Pretty sure they use monosodium glutamate...I ordered a vegan plate with extra mushrooms. I did not have one mushroom in the dish. Then they brought out a separate plate of mushrooms that tasted like they were loaded with MSG. BUT the service was great and management was kind.
Service was exceptional! I was a server through college, so I understand the demands of the job. Food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely be back soon!
Our waiter Patrick was the best we’ve ever experienced!
We were on vacation in New Orleans and made reservations here due to the name and also at a number of other restaurants that had come recommended. This was definitely the worst of the five w dined at. Slow service and very average food at best. I liked my cocktail a lot but the food itself was lacking in complexity and quality.
We were on vacation there and thought we would try Emerils. It was a great dinner. By far one of the best we had while in New Orleans. The wait staff was attentive and friendly but not in your face. They left time for private conversation but made sure your every need was attended to. The courses came in a timely manner. Watching the kitchen work was great fun. It was a well oiled machine with various people prepping and ensuring quality control. The food taster sent some things back but overall looked pleased with what was coming out. And if my dinner was any indication of what everyone was getting then you must try this restaurant. Our waiter was very helpful. When I attempted to order a side he advised that what was coming with my dinner would be more than adequate. He was right. Had I ordered the extra it would have been way too much. He could have let me order the side to up the bill but instead had my dining needs at the top of his priorities. I appreciated that service most of all. If you are in New Orleans and want an evening of pampering and great ambiance then go to Emeril's! You won't be sorry you did!
Celebrated parents' 50th Anniversary. Staff was extremely attentive & accommodating. Wonderful experience!
I had eaten lunch here several years ago, and wanted to experience the dinner menu. It did not disappoint. Additionally, the service (Mike and the two Tylers) was top notch, extremely attentive, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return on my next trip.
Our friends filet was ordered rare and came out well done. It was returned and a new steak was provided but the other two of us did not feel comfortable eating without him so by the time his second steak came our meals were cold. They did warm them but by then the entire experience was a disaster. We have never had an experience like this at any Emerils property. Maybe just a bad night. But for $350 we really felt we didn’t get a good value.
Visiting New Orleans and decided to stay away from Bourbon St
Wanted a really good meal New Orleans style. Classy -waitstaff was outstanding.
Husband got the pecan snapper and I had the calamari and a lovely fresh peach goat cheese and arugula salad with a key lime doberge cake for dessert!!
The most impeccable dining experience I have ever encountered!
Wonderful restaurant! I try to come here every time I visit New Orleans. Had dinner in the kitchen area which is an amazing experience!
The food was phenomenal! The service was stellar! The whole experience was superb! Must try the drum. One of the best meals I have ever had!!
It definitely meets its expectations. The food (seafood especially) was absolutely delicious—no doubt some of the best in the city, and we live here. Doesn’t feel like a celebrity or touristy restaurant, although of course it is.
Notably great bread served before the meal. Very friendly servers and sommelier. Massive wine list. Reasonably priced for pricy food in New Orleans.
The service and drinks were exceptional. The food was good, but I think my experience would have been better if I could have ordered what I wanted. I had my mouth all ready for the homemade sausage and greens for an appetizer. When they told me they were out of sausage, it kind of ruined my taste buds.
Excellent food, good customer service. Everyone in my party was satisfied with their experience. Would definitely recommend the BBQ salmon with sweet potatoes. Taste spectacular!
Food was only ok and very gourmet. Everything we asked for wasn't available, for instance we asked for hot tea they didn't have any. We asked for a particular wine and they said they ran out. The service was excellent. Overall it was just ok "nothing to write home about".
Think of this place as mass marketing fine dining. Good and bad in that concept. Service was way too fast. Food quality could not overcome the mediocre service. They really love their wines. The meal was not worth the name or the hype. Attenuate your expectations but not your wallet.
Young Mike, Blane, and Donte gave excellent service
Patient and knowledgeable staff! Definitely a staple and incredible experience
The food was delicious! They were very helpful and accommodating to my needs as well as my friends.
The food was not as amazing as I remembered it being. Filet was a little bit dry. Everything tasted good but it wasn’t top notch. The service and wait staff were excellent!
Our server was excellent along with the rest of the team!
We had a great time and a good meal; along with dessert. The drinks were not my favorite!
