Wonderful experience. Highly recommended. Do not go expecting cheap eats, expect a dining extravaganza worth whatever money you can afford.
Experience was great from the service to the food. Coordinated serving of each dish something I had not seen before. Awesome experience!!!!!
Emeril’s was a disappointment. Place is noisy. I ordered a listed single malt scotch that required ladder to get but bartender could not find it. Sausage and peppers in a tomato sauce was fine. Duck entree was large meaty bird but seemed bland. Pork chop also was very large but again seemed bland. Both entrees cooked as ordered. I would recommend the place but with reservations (no pun intended). Emeril’s is a professionally run operation but the food was just ok.
Great food. It’s pricy but that’s expected. We did have to wait for nearly an hour for our entree’s to come out, but it was worth the wait. My chicken had a perfect amount of spice, but did not go over board. Same can be said of my wife’s salmon. Our banana cream pie was 100% fresh and set the bar for future deserts.
Do not go if you’re in a hurry and in search of a quick bite. But if you want a quality dinner, you have to check it out. I am a bit disappointed I didn’t get to see Emeril himself, but it was a great experience.
On 1st trip to NO in 38 yrs. Not disappointed at all & will be back. Pork chop excellent & can be split. Sides & bbq shrimp very good. Top notch!
Have more rice options on the menu it a great Louisiana product
Have been going for years! Still great! Banana Cream Pie still great. Especially wonderful staff!
We came to Emeril’s for a birthday dinner. The food was hit or miss, some things were better than others. I can’t say that everything was consistently good across the board. The appetizer and salad portions were small but the entree portion was plentiful. The wait in between the appetizers and entrees was very long. During this time, our server became MIA. We tried to wave him down or make eye contact to call him over and he turned his head, pretending to not see us. We then called a manager over, who explained that the wait time for the entrees would be at least 45 mins and offered to check the status for us. No one explained this ahead of time and failed to set the expectation for the wait earlier on. He apologized for the wait and lack of communication and offered free dessert. The dessert and coffee was good. After winding down, we again had to flag our server down to request the checks. We then waited another 30 mins before we actually received the checks. The helper for our server was more energetic and attentive than our actual server.
Excellent restaurant, staff, and meal. The andouille crusted gulf drum was to die for! Our server, Thai, was the best!
Fried chicken and grilled chicken dish is amazing. Stuffed clams were delicious. Banana cream pie was also amazing.
Emeril’s you’ve done it again. This time I brought my brother, his wife, and our friend. Excellent multi-person service and head waiter Herman was on-point. Amazing curry mussels and BBQ shrimp appetizer. Flavorful, perfectly blended seasoning and spice with fresh seafood. The duck with sugar cane glaze was tender with a sweet, crisp skin. A pork chop that must have been two inches thick yet cooked perfectly throughout. And the reason we came - banana cream pie. Incredible; like eating raw bananas; a thicker pie consistency not quite like a cheesecake. Leave it to Emeril’s to make our mouths water, to entice our senses, to delight our taste buds, and send us on our way with our tummy’s happily full.
We went for 10yr wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was amazing and the food was delicious!
The best gourmet meal experience with superb service
The food and service was exceptional. Truly felt appreciated.
I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday at Emeril’s. I made the right choice! The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious! I will definitely dine here over and over again!
Great night out with fantastic food and service. Only thing missing Emeril himself!
Food and service were great but the quarters are tight and it makes for an unpleasant noise level.
Excellent attentive service
We loved the chorizo stuffed clams and the bbq shrimp recommended by our waiter
Chicken gumbo was ok, we’ve had better
stunning food and hospitality with an impressive view of the kitchen
Entrees were delicious. Desert was adequate
This is a must do when visiting New Orleans! One of the best meals of my life! MUST get the fried chicken and the andouille crusted fish! Don’t forget to save room for the banana cream pie...it’s worth it! I’ll be dreaming about this meal for a long time!
We enjoyed the 5 course tasting dinner. Each selection was expertly prepared and presented. The waiting staff was super professional. Everything was brought to the table in a timely manner and hot out of the kitchen. The tables, china and silverware were gleaming with cleanliness. The wines were expertly chosen
and extremely well represented from all areas. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu prices which were a great value for the wonderful food we received. Lovely dinner and evening!
The roasted fried chicken entree was moist and served creatively. The fried breast coating was so good I couldn’t resist eating it in spite of the calories.
This was a great place to eat. We were seated immediately (we had an early reservation). The overall service was phenomenal. The waiters that were assigned to the table were attentive and our glasses and plates were never empty. Their recommendations were spot on. Everything ran like clockwork and was very organized. The ability to sit at the table and watch the chefs prepare the meal was an additional benefit.
Drum was outstanding in both presentation and taste.
Service was good. Food not as good as previous visits. Wines are priced very high. We are taking them off our rotation given the abundance of great restaurants in New Orleans.
We went to celebrate my GF's birthday and found that the food, and service are impeccable. Thai and his team are spot on with their service and of course Emeril can be proud that his chef's for such an amazing feel for New Orleans cuisine. We look forward to coming back the next time we are in New Orleans.
Thank you so much to entire team especially young Mike and Then. Service was impeccable, food was fantastic. Will be back when back in NoLa!
Great place to dine. Elegant setting but very comfortable. Great servers and very friendly staff. Food was great!! Don’t miss the pork chop!!
A friend suggested we sit at the chef’s bar, which was a fabulous experience! After watching Emeril on food shows, and being a fan of cooking shows in general, it was great to sit by the kitchen and watch how everything works. The tastes were excellent. The portions are enormous though, so be forewarned! Every waitstaff and service person we encountered was polite and enthusiastic about the food and their job. It was great!
Food was fabulous. Majority of the service was great. Very attentive staff. Everything I expected of this fabulous restaurant. One ding was the bread girl. Someone forgot to tell her you don’t reach accross patrons to present food. This isn’t a diner! After the third time - management was notified.
Excellent food & service, not to mention, very accommodating with a toddler at the table.
So this was the very best restaurant that my friend and have ever eaten at!!! The taste sensations of the food was absolutely wonderful! The service was great! This was so good that was are going again before we leave New Orleans!! This is so worth going to and the portions were perfect!! Thank you Emeril and staff!!!
Food did not have much flavor not what we expected.
The service was fantastic! You can’t go wrong with anything you order from here! But the pork chop and peanut butter pie are next level!!
It was wonderful food is fresh and always to die for
We were in NOLA for a special occasion and Emerils was on the todo list. We were not disappointed!!
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The ambiance was fantastic, the service was great and the food was delicious. The waiter really took care of us. It was everything we expected and then some. Will definitely dine again.
