    Very good service. We were seated outside, but the train came by every 10 minutes or so with a loud whistle.-Very annoying. The food was tasty, the portions were small and the price was too high.

    Great experience. The main course took a little longer than expected and the manager, Kevin, gave us deserts free of charge because of the wait. This was totally unexpected and surprising. All of the entrees were excellent. We’ll be back!

    Once again Ella doesn't disappoint. From The amazing appetizers, including three kinds of oysters and the outstanding hamachi crudo with strawberries what an innovative take. The entrees were across the board excellent. Our service was outstanding, felt so taken care of with refinement but most of all care from our server Xavion. Simply the best lunch you can have in downtown Sacramento!

    have been multiple times, this time our server was a little awkward, (busser was great) as for food, the truffle brioche was not great tonight, the coconut halibut was not good, the taste of lemongrass overpowered the dish, it was a bummer. my husbands steak was great, basic, but great. i had notes in orin reservation that it was my husbands birthday, wish they would have brought him birthday dessert without me having to ask in front of him.

    Appreciated the high quality service and consistently positive dining experience. The soup amuse-bouche was a nice touch. Everyone enjoyed their dishes ranging from a burger to the two different salads with salmon added that was properly cooked. Great place for a business lunch.

    What a wonderful experience at Ella’s. This visit proved to be what I expected and more. The attention to detail, an attentive waitress, an informed sommelier and outstanding food. Ella certainly lived up to its reputation and more.

    Uh...YUM! Worth the price and the wait for a reservation. Fancy food well executed. A great special occasion destination. Not a super creative menu, but very solid standards in the farm to fork zone.
