   Service was very good and we felt welcomed. We had special seafood platter and it was delicious.

   I love Ella’s dinners and happy hours but we need to make more noise for their lunch!! Their capital plate special with the Reuben is amazing for what it costs and I love how they change the soup every so often. Ella is like my second home, thank you for always making me feel taken care of 🤍

   My friend and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch before the Broadway theater show. Our waiter was excellent as well as our greeter and beverage server! The food was excellent including our chocolate ice cream for dessert! We always love the ambiance and are well taken care of by the servers! Bravo!

   Everything was great. We often frequent the Selland families other establishments, especially The Kitchen, but this was our first time at Ella. Everything was high quality…just what you expect from The Selland’s name. Our waitress was a 10/10 and overly attentive without intruding. The food was superb.

   Lunch - restaurant not crowded. Server asked if we were ready to order and we asked for a minute. He came back 15 minutes later. Never had my water glass filled. Had to search for server to get bill. Come here monthly and today was below par.

   We highly recommend dining at Ella's for happy hour. Great burger and steak tartar. Good deal on cocktails. Dining on the patio is magical during nice weather. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Everyone works hard to please.

   They had a special Lamb dinner that night. Dustin the chef created a delicious dinner and Shane the wine sommelier did a great wine pairing.

    We haven’t been to Ella‘s since before Covid, it was a Sacramento favorite for many years. When we went yesterday, there were a few things that were very disappointing. My husband ordered the halibut. The fish was great, but the greens that accompanied his dish were so salty he couldn’t eat them. Likewise, with the side order of brussels sprouts we barely touched them. Each of us had one bite as they were again way too salty I ordered the bone marrow appetizer, which is one of my favorite treats and not on many menus.  unfortunately, they put shredded oxtail or something like that all over the top which essentially obliterated the flavor of the bone marrow. I don’t think we’ll be going back to Ella‘s. That was our last time based upon our experience.
