   With reservation we still waited 22 minutes to be seated. Waiter pleasant but restaurant busy. Water, chips and salsa arrived quickly. I ordered a draft beer that never arrived after 30 minutes so I cancelled beer then ordered Margarita that also took another 15 minutes. The server recognized this and brought a larger margarita to make amends. However it had no tequila I could detect. Food arrived in another 10 minutes. Good presentation but very bland. The server after being notified of weak Margarita brought a shot of tequila to add. The wandering Mariachi band mostly didn’t play, and didn’t look happy. However I wasn’t expecting greatness but better than this.

   We got to use a coupon offer for a free appetizer and used it to get the tableside guacamole. Our server went above and beyond checking in regularly and offering to bring fresh tortillas to take with our leftovers. The food was great tasting - great meal out!

   Enjoyable brunch with friends celebrating our birthdays. Our service could have been better. All in all we had a good time .

   Every time a friend and I dine at El Torito Grill we think we'll order something different but each time we both still order the delicious taco salad. It has so many yummy ingredients and it's a generous portion of everything. But - the thing that really makes dining there special are two great employees - Antillo and Adrian. Antillo is usually our server and he remembers our orders perfectly from previous visits and is very personable. And Adrian always comes by to say hello and see how things are going.

   I chose El Torito Grill for Easter brunch. There were a lot of food choices… most of the items were marked, but they did not explain what they contained. I eat chicken and fish, but things were marked as potatoes, but when I asked a worker, I was notified that it actually contain chorizo. It would be nice if there was a way to know what type of meat was in the item. Also, I noticed most things were beef and pork, and only a couple things with chicken. All of the fish items contained shrimp, which I am allergic to.  the restaurant was very loud but that’s a given for a holiday Sunday! I thought maybe they would have mariachis but there were none during our 12–1 30 window.  Our server was very quick to refill mimosas.  the taco bar was great and the homemade tortillas were good but wish they would’ve been corn and not flour! All in all it was decent for the price…you can’t complain!

    Happy Hour is excellent. Rafael our server is so good. We always enjoy seeing him & being served by him. The taco trio & Al pastor tacos were very good. And the fresh made flour tortillas are great. We love it all.
