Lovely little gem in Magog. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the decor very modern. It was a bit noisy but to be expected when you have a full house on a a Friday night, which I assume is good thing. We will certainly make a visit there again should we be in the area.

Had not been in years - restaurant still has a lovely, refined ambiance with the best feature being the very well-spaced tables. Service was very good - as expected for a restaurant of this calibre. Now to the food... I wish my lunch guest and I had been up for the 3-course prix fixe because I'm sure that would have represented far better value as is usually the case. We began with mocktails - my guest accepted the waiter's recommendation for the Yuzu 75 - she pronounced it delicious. I chose the Esprit Libre because it mentioned both raspberry and passionfruit - two of my favourites, neither of which was particularly discernible except for the vibrant red colour. Note to self: Listen to the waiter! We both had the salmon filet, which was on the small side and ever so slightly overcooked. The size would have been fine for lunch, but the accompanying tiny scoop of shredded celeriac topped with an even tinier arrangement of finely sliced green vegetable (I believe it was supposed to be asparagus) really was rather too precious for the $40 price tag. For this price point, you really do need a little more food on the plate (didn't cuisine minceur come and go in the '80s?) And while these vegetables were artfully arranged, they were also unforgivably salty (like no celeriac remoulade I have ever eaten). Again, I would not be so critical but this is a restaurant from which you expect better. Couldn't fault the Gâteau St Honoré tart though - it was delicious!

We went to Blu on Avenue Road for our 3rd anniversary dinner and had a quiet romantic table on the ground floor. Staff went out of their way to explain the menu and our choices. It was clear that they were very loyal and loved their jobs and the place. They did give us some quiet time too. Then we were told the restaurant was about to close because of a huge rent increase at their lease renewal. We hope the new location opening on King Street West will come close to the beautiful spacious building on Avenue Road. Even if it does not we will be there because the food and service is so good. We each had an amazing scallop appetizer and we were glad we did not split it and had our own. For main courses the pasta, lamb and beef tenderloin were cooked to perfection. We were too full for ordering dessert but they brought a tiramisu to share and we were able to finish before leaving happy. We can’t wait to return to the new location in May.

Celebrated 65 th birthday at Blue Bloods at Castle Loma which was wonderful. The ambience being in the castle and the beautiful atmosphere at the restaurant makes this a great place to go for dinner. Our server was fantastic and provided us with several options available on the menu and available wines. We started with grilled octopus and Caesar salad with a great bottle of Scarpetta wine. Our mains included a 8 oz fillet , large 12 oz strip loin and grilled salmon all cooked to perfection with grilled mushrooms, duck fat fries and an enormous bake potato and steak sauce as sides. Portions are very large so I recommend sharing with others. For dessert a large piece of cheesecake with a birthday candle to celebrate the special day. Food was delicious and would highly recommend experiencing dinner at the castle.

I generally stick to pub food in a pub but this time I ordered the Pad Thai and I was a little disappointed. The chicken was dry and there wasn't enough sauce. I should have asked for some extra sauce but they were so busy and we were heading to a concert so I thought I would have to wait too long.

Came to celebrate a friends birthday and it was perfect. I have never had a bad experience at LOCALE - Aurora. The ambience, the staff, the service and obviously the food make the whole experience feel so complete. I would’ve ordered more items if my stomach would allow it!! Can’t wait to come back again! Ordered bottomless drip coffee and the old school burger, which was really tasty. Will come back for the pancakes!

The food was delicious everything from the beet salad, escargot, octopus, & the main was the filet. Topped the evening off with Rum Baba & Maple Crème Brûlée. Delicious cocktails, & wine list was Fair. Definitely recommend!

Our food is a reflection of the melting pot of cultures that has gentrified the Queen West neighbourhood in Toronto. The menu has been designed for guests to share plates, in an effort to create a convivial and social dining experience.

Our Wood-Fire Pizzas are a cross between Roma and Neapolitan styles; cooked in a wood-burning M.A.M pizza oven imported from Italy. It yields a crust that is thin but sturdy. Wood-fire capabilities are critical for our menu as the flavour imparted on the food is exceptional and unique.

Cocktails, mains, dessert and service were all excellent as always.
Wildcraft is a premium casual dining & socializing venue featuring an upbeat urban environment, with a comfortable suburban feel. Come enjoy a hand crafted cocktail in the W Bar & stay for dinner in our dining room.

Our popular outdoor courtyard makes Wildcraft a desired destination year-round. We feature a small heated outdoor space that will allow you to dine in the elements if you wish to flex your Canadian muscle!

Quick service , great staff , the food was great had the empenadas to start great flavor.
