Today the steak wasn’t aged like what we had before where it’s seared perfectly (crispy on outside). My husband thought it was not the usual chef or the steak was not aged like he has had at Eddie V’s. Maybe it’s a week night? Hopefully next time they will get it right.

My girlfriends and I go once a week during their happy hour time and love the appetizers. Oysters Rockefeller and the Steak strips tataki, and beet salad are our favorites. I love to sit upstairs outside by the water and have a great view of the cove. What makes Eddie V's special is not only the view but the attention to detail and SERVICE. Their attitude is noticeable and we always enjoy it. The front people already know me cause I go so often. I live in downtown San Diego but attend a church in La Jolla so I am in La Jolla weekly and it's my happy hour choice. (I don't even drink! but they make any mocktail I request)

Amazing experience! Best steakhouse/seafood spot I have ever been to! The lobster mashed potatoes were amazing! Max was AWESOME!! I will definitely be coming back every time I am in town. 10/10 wow!!

We had an absolutely wonderful evening here to celebrate my son’s birthday with our family. The service is truly one of the best in SD and the food was delicious. Everyone had a perfect meal.

My wife and I enjoy Eddie V’s and have dined in the downtown San Diego and Scottsdale Arizona locations. This was our first time at the La Jolla location. For us this location has all the parts of Eddie V’s that we enjoy (atmosphere, service and food) plus a truly outstanding view of the ocean. Our server was very engaging and helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated. For starters we had the burrata salad and the yellowtail sashimi. My wife was very amazed and impressed with the quantity of burrata on the salad and the yellowtail sashimi is always one of my favorites. My wife and I enjoy fish and as usual Eddie V’s came through with some outstanding halibut and sea bass. We had the brussels sprouts side dish and enjoyed the preparation and spicy sauce. We did not order dessert but the waiter brought us a dessert sampler to finalize our evening. We give Eddie V’s La Jolla location our highest recommendation and will 100% dine here again on a future La Jolla trip.
