As usually a great meal in an extremely pleasant environment. If you want outdoor seating request that lower outside terrace. There are only about 6 tables overlooking the ocean. It’s quiet it is as though you are in a small restaurant.

We came for a birthday dinner and had told them ahead of time. Great service because the table was decorated with a card and rose petals and we had an amazing view of the cove. The food was great, the oysters and steak tartar were the best I’ve had. We all went for lobsters and steaks and were impressed by all the food. The caviar potato was luscious and we all enjoyed it. As wonderful as the food and view were it was really the exceptional and attentive service that really brought our dinner to the next level. Britnee and the team did an amazing job making us feel welcome and as if we were in a constant state of celebration. We are very happy to have had her as a server and will be going for more dinners in the future. Thanks for a great time

My wife and I started going to your restaurant 14 years ago for our anniversary. We are both very understanding people but after tonight’s visit and much thought I decided to share a few disappointments. First and foremost I understand the importance of maintaining a good reputation. We sat outside for the first time and overall we enjoyed our experience until the table behind us started smoking marijuana. It was brief but very obvious. Additionally, the table in front of us started vaping. I did speak with the manager after dinner privately to alert him to the situation. Apparently, these were employee’s of your establishment. The table that smoked behind us tried to buy us off with drinks and the store manager later attempted to make things right with a gift card. In both scenarios I told them them “no”. My wife told me that I shouldn’t waste my time writing this review, and we should just not go there (Eddie V’s) anymore. So my hope is that someone reading this will do the right thing and ensure that this doesn’t happen again. It’s illegal in the City of San Diego to allow smoking indoor and outdoor. Please educate your workers on this law. We wish Eddie V’s the best but this will be our last time dining at your restaurant.
