We were sat at a table in the area not part of the main dining room. It was a large horseshoe table. The table is too small for the space, leaving all of us sitting on the edge of the booth seats just so we could reach the table. Awful! So uncomfortable. Our server, cant remember her name, was not good. She forgot drinks, second drink orders were forgotten too. I actually went to the bar to get my drink because she never brought it to me. It was sitting at the bar waiting for her to bring it to me! But it was the wrong drink. I ordered a Mexi Lager, she said you don't have that but there is Modelo. So I ordered a Modelo. When I went to the bar to get my own drink (because the server forgot us), it was Modelo dark. I don't like Modelo dark. So your awesome bartender helped me out with the correct drink. We all wanted to order more drinks, but we figured because it took sooooo long to get our first drinks, we just didn't get another one. This was a family gathering and we were all so frustrated. Back to the table, you all need to fix that! Get longer tables, or something. Sitting with my butt cheeks barely on the booth, I was uncomfortable. It will be awhile before we go back to your restaurant.

We really enjoyed our visit to East by Southwest! The food and service were really good. Love the vibe…bustling and a little noisy, but not over the top loud. We ended up visiting with the table next to us which doesn’t reflect on the restaurant, but they were a wonderful couple and it just added to our evening. Love that we could easily walk from our AirBNB on Main as well. We recommend East by Southwest 100%!

Always delicious food and attentive service. I love that they have gluten free options as well. One of our favorites in Durango.

Had an early reservation, which was a great idea--very busy on Saturday night! Rainbow roll was perfect, as was the Waygu beef. Our waitperson was wonderful and service was unobtrusive but instant and friendly. We talked ourselves into dessert, and the Strawberry shortcake was wonderful.

We went for my daughter-in-law’s birthday. The service was fine, food was good and drinks (we didn’t order alcohol) were fine. There was no mention made of our special occasion which seems to be the norm nowadays. It’s too bad. I was ask when making the reservation on OpenTable if it was a special occasion which I specified. So, why do you ask if the restaurant isn’t going to acknowledge the guest? It’s curious. 🤨
