Fantastic view, meal and service!
Everything was awesome and the waitress was amazing.
Love this place for the seafood!! Great views too!! Eat here a lot!!
Food was pretty gross :-(. Not the best experience :-(
This place was great! Our table overlooked the water.
Beautiful view of the La Jolla coastline. Vibrant restaurant and good food, has you feeling you're on vacation in Hawaii. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly.
Shawn was amazing with us. We had a very special night with great dinner and an outstanding view.
We hadn’t been to Dukes in about 18 months, partly due to COVID-19 shut down, decided to go out pre Fathers Day with family for dinner. I was a little disappointed with my entree, not quite the quality that I remember. Service was good but our waitress seemed to be inexperienced.
Beautiful views at this restaurant! The food was delicious.
Both eggs on the Benedict were hard boiled. Server was slow. Felt like they were under-staffed, for a father's day weekend. Hope it'll be better next time.
Service not so great, appetizers have been reduced in size compared to past. The entrees were plain and tasteless
Food was delicious and our waiter was excellent .
My fave restaurant, view, service and food all top notch
We were very excited to try this place. The view was absolutely amazing even though it was cloudy and cool. The server started out strong but finished poorly. He recovered by giving us a free dessert but we were frustrated by the lack of attention.
The food was really only OK. The Hot Pot was not hot and lacked some seasoning. There was no salt or pepper on the table. The Mac crusted fish was awesome but really needed more sauce and seasoning. The broccolini served with the fish was very overcooked and tough.
The pie was ok too. Not really worth all of the hype. The Mai Tais were far too flowery for our taste
Overall the meal was ok and the view was amazing. But because it was all just ok and the price point was higher we probably wouldn’t go back.
We had the best experience for our 10 year anniversary dinner. Service, ambiance & food were all amazing. Definitely a place to visit while in the area.
Went here for parents anniversary. Got seated in a half booth that was directly in the sun the entire dinner and had no view at all of the ocean. Definitely not the ambience we were opting for for the celebration.
The covid restrictions for a large group are ridiculous. I understand the company has a policy in place but not allowing us to move to a table closer to our family did not make any sense and to be honest it really put a damper on my birthday.
Delicious, beautiful views, good service, relaxed atmosphere. All around enjoyable experience. Would go again.
This food was delicious and the view was even better. Such a cool experience while visiting San Diego!
Family dinner night
I had the best birthday lunch here, the lava flow and hula ice cream pie were the best😍😊
Restaurant did a great job of giving us a wonderful table on the patio with a great view! The food was delicious and the service was great! Def recommend!
I expected exceptional service & felt like we were not a priority at all. Went there for my daughters high school graduation, which I put in the notes, and they did t even say congratulations. Disappointing.
Great place! Good food with a great view, good prices.
The shrimp appetizer is a few fried shrimp with a little coconut thrown on top. So NOT worth $16. The sea bass was overcooked and dry. Salads are ok. The value of the food for the price is not there.
Love the food, the relaxed vibe and the view of the ocean from the terrace.
An amazing experience all around! We went to celebrate my husband's graduation with our 2 kids and we all loved our food. I highly recommend sitting outside as the view is beautiful and very relaxing. Our waiter was wonderful, giving us recommendations for the kids and even taking the time to get a wonderful picture of the four of us. I will definitely visit again.
This is a great place to experience La Jolla. The food is great and the location is hard to beat!
First night I. La Jolla was great. Dukes staff were great. We had an outside table upstairs with a great view. Highly recommend.
The nachos came out dry and in one big lump so the chips had to be broken apart. Service wasn’t the best as we had to wait for refills and never had waters refilled. The view was great as always.
Not accommodating for our party of 7 to be at one table.
A creative Hawaiian Islands menu, good and simple food, spectacular views, and a fast and efficient staff all combined with excellent desserts (!) Make this place a must see when you are in La Jolla.
Very happy with the service and view. The food was not as good. Hilo Hilo chicken was dry and ahi was lacking seasoning. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient.
You’re definitely paying for the view. The hummus was really good and the drinks were good but everything else was pretty disappointing.
server was incredible! made the experience that much better along with the views
