Our experience at Dukes was wonderful. The servers the bartender were so attentive. We love the live music during our meal there and of course the sunset didn’t disappoint.

We had a phenomenal experience at Duke’s. We had reservations and they were inside but the awesome staff was so accommodating and added another table to Blakes section so we could watch the sunset on the patio. Blake was beyond exceptional! He was super friendly, quick service, great drink recommendations. He even brought us a Hula Pie for our anniversary. Highly encourage everyone to stop in here. Even with limited hours and limited menu while getting operations back up and running they didn’t skip a beat. We’d give it 10 stars if we could

Despite there being no electricity and all around us the world was an apocalypse with the fires raging through Lahaina, the staff at Duke’s remained resilient - providing the highest levels of service possible. The Chefs in the back were cooking and preparing food by lanterns and the hostess, bartender, and servers continued to be courteous and accommodating. Our hearts go out to all those in Maui.

First time at Duke’s even tho we’ve been to Maui dozens of times. We had a table on the patio and the sunset view was amazing! The food was average but the service was very good. Would probably try again.

The place, food and service was good, but we went there thinking they’d be serving Sunday brunch (based on their website) but FYI turns out they don’t do brunch anymore and their website wasn’t updated to reflect that. Their breakfast ends at 11am.

If I could pick one dining experience on Maui that has to be priority, then Duke’s tops the list. Located on one of the top beaches on Maui, the panoramic seating views are captivating. The servers are friendly, helpful and give you time to enjoy your experience without rushing you through your meal. There is something for everyone on Duke’s menu. Plenty of Island insured favorites, artfully presented and delicious. Don’t miss visiting Duke’s when you come to Maui, you won’t be disappointed. For the record, I have been coming to Maui for over twenty years and have dined all over the Island. Enjoy.

We always have a wonderful time here. Brunch and dinner is delicious. Our server today for breakfast was Brenda, and she was the best server we’ve ever had. Very personable but quick. She was so thoughtful in her suggestions. We had the best time! Mahalo!

Really nice meal with a wide selection considering my food allergies. Spencer was great from greeting us to our departure. Very accommodating for the children’s meals too. Lovely views of the beach. A little loud but a great family restaurant.

Risotto was a bit soupy, but the fish in it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the swordfish and it was excellent. The arugula, beet salad was good, just could have used a few more beets. Ambience was lovely with the tiki lights after the sunset. Waiter was nice, just a bit disappointed that we wanted a sunset pic, he said sure and then disappeared until after sunset.😳 We would eat there again.

I have been coming to this Duke’s for many many years and have always looked forward to my time there. It was just my wife and I this time at the restaurant and we ordered a very nice bottle of wine and the best meals on the menu. In the past my visits have been always spot on with the food and service. This time the visit felt very rushed, noisy and the food was just ok. Not the experience I would expect. I ate at all the other popular restaurants on this trip and the experience at Duke’s was probably my least favourite. Very unusual. It doesn’t have the feel of a higher end restaurant anymore. Not the place to have an intimate sunset meal with a spouse, or partner, but super noisy, busy and catered to young families. I still left a wicked tip for our server Luke as he was nice, but seemed overwhelmed and really busy with other tables. I have already scratched Duke’s off the list when I come back in the fall time with my whole family. Sorry Duke’s, but you have to make some changes and get back to the way it used to be. 3 stars out of 5.

Really enjoyed Dukes it was hard to find parking considering we weren’t staying at the resort it was it. However the food was lovely and the ocean was so pretty. Definitely recommend the poke tacos!

After we were seated and the server took our cocktail order, It took 30 minutes to get our drinks . She then asked us multiple times if we were ready to place our dinner order before the cocktails had even arrived. When we finally placed our order, they realized they had given us the lunch menu, and the options we wanted were not available and we needed to choose from the correct menu. Service was slow. Food was mediocre. We were sitting in a booth next to the kitchen and it was very very hot. Disappointed!

We ate at a different restaurants a few nights before eating here, and we were thoroughly surprised at how much better Dukes was than the other place. The atmosphere, service, and all Lauren experience was one we will never forget.

Duke’s Beach House is a wonderful restaurant. It’s ambiance captures the essence of Hawaii while offering the best variety of wonderfully prepared seafood. Servers are fantastic. They are knowledgeable and very efficient and personable without being intrusive. Music is strictly jazz and Hawaiian. Greatly popular, reservations are a must or it will be a long wait.
