Great breakfast with locally sourced ingredients, right on the ocean, with fantastic service. To top things off, the whole restaurant could see whales breaching in the ocean offshore. Magical!

Perfect view. Waitress made lot of mistakes in our order and we had to chase down some items in our own - sugar napkins etc

Everything was very good. The parking is a bit of a forced extra fee. They are now charging for valet parking. The valet parking takes up all of the close parking so if you don’t valet, you are forced to park a great distance away, making the already long walk back to the restaurant, about twice as far. For some people this is VERY difficult. I think they should go back to complimentary valet service.

Family dining. I had the Seafood risotto and was good. My family told me that their food was ok but nothing exceptional. However the decor and ambience for the restaurant was very good.

Had dinner here on our first night in Ka’anapali. Great table with ocean views. Fresh mahi done Duke style for me and ahi steak for the hubs...both excellent. Ended dinner with a slice of hula pie, and left very happy! Will be back!

My family and friends went to Duke’s to celebrate my son’s 5th birthday. We chose Duke’s based on the close proximity to our hotel as well as a recommendation. We arrived a few minutes early for our 6p reservation and was seated right away. Our waiter was nice and answered all of our questions about the menu. The kids menu was decent and the 3 children that were with us all found something they wanted to eat. I ordered the Mahi Mahi dish. It was ok. I’d never had Mahi Mahi before so I didn’t have anything to compare to it to. The vegetables that came with the dish were bland. My husband I ordered mai tai’s and they were not good. Both of ours tasted like they were made and then sat for a while. We probably should have sent them back but we didn’t. We had mai tai’s at our hotel a couple days later and realized how awful the one’s at Duke’s were. The views from Dukes are great. Overall, the food was just ok. It’s not somewhere I’d make a point to go back to next visit.

Was able to seat us 30 min earlier than expected then greeted my husband Happy Birthday (which it was!). Even the manager came over and personally said Happy Birthday. Food and drinks were delicious! Server (Clay) was extremely nice and efficient. We had a wonderful dinner experience!

We were disappointed with Dukes this time. We have been there many times and been very pleased. This time we were seated at a table outside without an umbrella and it had sprinkled a bit before we arrived but was not raining at the time. We ordered drinks and food. One of our drinks arrived but not the other one. When our food arrived it was beginning to sprinkle and no effort was made to try to move us to a different table and we hurriedly ate our food because we were getting wet and cold by this time. Our waitress came to check on us and we informed her that one drink had not come yet and she said she would go find out about it. About five minutes later it arrived. Another person in charge came by to see how we were doing and we asked if we could be moved inside and he said there wasn’t a space available and he said sorry about the rain, but we have no control of the weather. Our waitress came to check on us and apologized about the weather also. When she brought our bill she also brought a complimentary dessert to compensate for our unpleasant experience. That was nice, but we probably will not be returning to Dukes anytime soon.

This was our 4th time to Duke’s - just found it last year. The food is very good and served pretty quickly considering the numerous tables at this ocean front location. The purple bread is awesome, just love it! The food was well prepared and tasty: Bao Buns are terrific; the blackened Sashimi was tasty!; we had a salad that was fabulous, just can’t remember its name. Our server, Stephanie, was terrific: friendly, attentive and caring. The noise level was high because our table was located two tables away from the live musicians who were very good; we were just a little to close. The bar drinks are well done. I really love Duke’s.

I love Duke's. I know the food will be great and they always have the widest selection of fresh fish daily that I've found on Maui. I went twice this week and had the opakapaka both times. It's my favorite. The setting is awesome, right on the beach, and the service is excellent. I met some other vacationers at the bar who raved about the Truffle Fries. They come with a garlic aoli dipping sauce which was very good. I highly recommend Duke's!

We have been coming to Dukes yearly for some time now. This time, all 5 of us ordered Mai Tais. We should have sent them back. Just like drinking water. Horrible. We told our waiter and he ran. Most of the food was good, but my husband had a hard tasteless piece of chicken. To top things off, one person in our party was sick all night. We suspect from your restaurant as we did not have lunch that day.

Always a good experience at Duke's no matter if happy hour or dinner. The food quality is good and service excellent. Bula took good care of us for happy hour and Andrew took very good care of us during dinner. Food and drink order prepared and delivered in very good time which is due to proper management and organization. We will be back and also recommend Duke's to anyone who wants a good meal and drinks with Aloha. Mahalo Nui Loa.

The worst $15-18 breakfast entrees I’ve ever had. Very little flavor. Eggs Benedict and breakfast skillet aren’t that hard to do right. Service was slow and nothing special. Only plus is the location.

Dukes never disappoints! Delicious seafood, great views at sunset.Always crowded so reservations a must if you don’t feel like waiting an hour.
Only drawback is parking. Limited spaces at Honoa Kai resort or you’ll need to valet park.
