Duke's Huntington Beach
Brad our waiter was phenomenal.
Please remind your servers that folks are waiting for their meals. When I see 4 male servers standing around enjoying themselves when I don’t even have my beverage order, my opinion of the entire experience becomes jaded. They need to learn how to anticipate guest needs and act accordingly
We always go to Duke’s for my birthday. The food is outstanding. Our waitress is the best. The only complaint is the noise, we have t yell to everyone.
Celebrate of graduation from college
Duke’s Huntington Beach never disappoints!! Great views of the beach and Huntington Beach Pier, excellent food and our server, Steve, was friendly and accommodating. Thanks again for a great dinner!
I requested window seat since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they gave us a great table with a view! The food was really good and the other highlight of the night was the amazing dessert they brought for his bday, not only was it delicious, it was a really good portion and four of us absolutely enjoyed it! Service was great too!
Everything was simply delicious. The waiter was very attentive and helped us to make a terrific choice. We wanted to combine two different entrees and he had them split exactly right. Having the beach out the window and a lovely atmosphere inside was lovely
We had eaten at the Dukes in Waikiki and decided to try out the one in Huntington Beach while visiting for my daughters college graduation. It was outstanding! The fish and chips were moist and flaky and we were even given a free dessert to celebrate the graduation. Great staff and atmosphere!
We have been here many times and always have a wonderful experience.
My husband had the seafood salad with fresh crab & shrimp. I had fish tacos, the sauce inside of the tortillas was very spicy, served with guacamole & hot salsa on the side. My friend had the shredded pork sandwich with slaw & sweet potato fries.
The servers have been consistently helpful, making sure sure we are happy with the meal and good with suggestions.
Had only been to Dukes for dinner. Tried it for a bridal luncheon. I initially wanted the res for 1p, but 11a was the only opening.
That turned out to be better. We had time to interact when it was less crowded. It got crazy busy starting noon, and louder.
Lunch menu was great, our server was very accommodating, even offering to split checks with such a large group. Would definitely try an early res again.
We had an outstanding meal and customer service experience as usual at Duke's Surf City. R.J. did an excellent job as our server.
The food, view, and service were great. However, the noise level was so loud that we could hardly hear each other talk. We went for a family reunion and birthday celebration, but could only hear the person sitting next to us because of so many people talking loud. Won't go back there.
Dukes is always good. The service is outstanding. We are locals and happy to have it conveniently located.
I am a complete sucker for a great view. We requested an ocean view table and were will to wait for it and we loved it.
Food is Workman-like. Big portions. It’s fine but I love the ocean in real time. The staff is young, lovely and eager - our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed but we were in no rush
Went to Duke’s for Mother’s Day and had a wonderful dinner, plus the Hula Pie the four of us shared for dessert - yum! La Crema Pinot noir was an excellent choice to accompany all of the dishes.
Very corporate- limited options on menu, some portions small for price, prime rib had no flavor, sides were all bad. Cocktails were bad- not made according to what was listed on menu. Cold mashed potatoes and over cooked broccolini and asparagus. Our server was really nice and provided good service, but we won’t go back. The place is beautiful, but they need to step up the food quality and presentation to justify those prices
We had a good window seat. 5 of us. Mother’s Day. The surver was witty and fun, and together. The food was timely and excellent, but then again, it truly always is. Duke’s is casual fine dinning at bill time, however the experience all around the table, on Mother’s Day, and always, is Mahalo.
Service was OK food was not good at all I was very disappointed especially with how much I have paid for it
Duke’s Huntington Beach is a Fantastic place to eat or just hang out at the bar. Clean, great service, outstanding food👍🏼
The food and ambiance made for a perfect Mother’s Day celebration. Thanks to a great staff for a perfect day!
My daughter asked where I'd like to celebrate Mother's Day, I responded Duke's. We've been to Duke's numerous times, always a treat. The price is moderate as compared with other brunches, the food is plentiful, fresh, well prepared, excellent overall. The wait staff was extremely attentive as always.
I highly recommend Duke's for brunch or any occasion. Wonderful food, great service, great location.
Love this place! Best view in Huntington Beach and great food too. Brunch shuts down at 3:00 though so if you like a leisurely meal I wouldn’t recommend a reservation past 1:00. They do keep full until the end but wraps up pretty quickly. Service is great, very attentive too. If you like Hawaiian food, you’ll love this place!
Duke's is always a treat! The Sunday brunch buffet is wonderful with a wide variety of choices.
The service is attentive, and the HB pier and beach view is awesome! We also enjoy the Hawaiian entertainment by Pat and his lovely hula dancer. The local atmosphere here is tropical and laid back.
A little bit of paradise in Huntington Beach! My family loves Duke's for special occasions and holidays.
Favorite place! First time going for brunch. It was delicious.
Mother’s Day Brunch
Food was great, as always. Unfortunately we did not have an ocean view which was requested at the time of booking so without the view, the food seems expensive. Next time I will insist on a table with a view, that is one of the main reasons we go there.
My husband took me to Duke's for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had such a wonderful evening. We were seated right away and had the most delightful service provided by Suzanne who saw to our every request. From the appetizers to dessert, each dish was better than the one before it. We highly recommend the filet mignon and lobster tail. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We will be coming back often.
Great food and view of the ocean and sunset! Service is always great.
Service was excellent
Arranged special seating by window
Wonderful service! The hosts and servers were great! The food was not good. We had a couple of the fresh fish options. They were not nearly as tasty as we hoped and didn’t taste so fresh. The poke tacos were decent. My rocket salad was bland. Even my drinks were not good. I had 3 different cocktails. The coconut mojito was watered down. The fancy Bloody Mary did not have much flavor. Even the mai Thai was a disappointment.
Great Hawaiian vibe, fantastic view of the Pacific, and Duke's location right on the beach is fantastic.
Adam was our server and he was AMAZING!! Very polite and professional. We were celebrating my grandmother's 86th birthday, and she said having him as a server made her want to have more birthdays! Thank you, Adam, for making it such a memorable experience!
Our waiter was initially very attentive but later did not check on us much. At one point he spent an excessive amount of time talking to patrons at the corner booth near us.
It was amazing to watch the sunset from our table. Our waiter Adam made great suggestions and was very attentive. The food was so good we were turned the next day for a late lunch
Had a nice view of the beach & ocean from our table, food was delicious, service was outstanding.
We have been coming to Duke's brunch buffet for years to celebrate birthdays and this was by far the best meal we have had there. The chef seems to have changed and the food was innovative and delicious!
Best Sunday brunch buffet in Southern California! Love the ambiance and beach view. The food is delicious. It's like having a little part of Hawaii in So Cal!
First the emloyees make it worth of visiting and secondly the „surfing feeling“ is fully present.
This is my third Duke (Waikili and Kauai were the previous once) and same very good standard.
I simply like it
