This is not just my favorite Italian place in the city, it’s my favorite restaurant period. The food is flawlessly executed, with innate simplicity. They confidently and brilliantly let a few ingredients shine in every dish. Always terrific service, shockingly great prices and an ambiance fitting of everyone’s favorite neighborhood place. Pure joy.

A contemporary take on the classic oyster bar, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near BAM, Barclay's, the Paramount, and Atlantic Terminal.

Strange Delight finds its influence in New Orleans and is also inspired by the rich history of oysters in New York. Our menu consists of regional seafood prepared in a variety of styles: Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp Remoulade share the stage with classic seafood towers and Oysters Rockefeller. A rotating selection of larger plates features items such as Black Cod Almondine and Blackened Swordfish Belly.

To drink, Strange Delight updates old classics, serving both a Hurricane and Ramos Gin Fizz service for 2, alongside Martinis and Sazeracs. Our wine and beer lists feature our favorite American producers.

Regular: a table in our back dining room
Bar: seats at our back dining room bar
High-top: a higher table with bar stools in our front room with an open kitchen and oyster counter.

For Dinner, you will find bistro comfort classics along with seasonally inspired dishes or try one of the Chef's daily specials. Pair everything and anything with a well crafted seasonally inspired cocktail, local craft beer or choose from our rotating selection of wine. Juliette offers several dining options including a beautiful indoor garden, cozy wine room and lively bar area. For al fresco dining, enjoy some people watching on the sidewalk cafe or escape to the roof terrace away from the thrum of the city.

The entire experience was fantastic. Beautiful ambience and easy to have a conversation with your partner or whoever you are there with since it is quiet. Food was immaculate and the espresso chocolate martini was spectacular. Highly recommend for a nice date night, top notch. Will come back again!

I love bringing my friends from out of town to aurora because the ambiance is amazing! Also the service is always fantastic, my server was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We went just after noon on a Saturday. Based upon previous experience passing the restaurant we expected to have to wait. Thankfully we were seated immediately. Our server Diamond was quite attentive and got our drinks quickly, took our orders. We were pleasantly surprised that she checked on us frequently until our meal was ready. The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Amazing food and service. It seemed almost impossible but they were incredible. We will be returning and recommending this as a spot to visit.

Our kitchen is a full two-stories, equipped with three refrigerators for beer, seafood, vegetables and steaks. I came to Amber steakhouse to celebrate my fiancé‘s birthday. We were running a little bit late and I called in and they gave me no issues to reschedule the appointment. When we pulled up, the service was perfect. We ordered a porterhouse steak for two and multiple sides. It was delicious. They even sang happy birthday to my fiancé. Overall, the restaurant was a 10 out of 10.
