This was our second visit to River Cafe and it was outstanding like the first visit. A special place for any occasion. The staff was so attentive and the meal was superb thru each course. We look forward to another experience. The maitre de was wonderful to accommodate our special request.

The entire team from start to finish were true to their standards. We sat through a wonderfully whimsical menu that was not only immersive but tantalizingly playful. Exquisite table-side service and beautifully presented plates. Everything we expected and more, chef Fredrik and his team are very well in tune with their menu and knowledge. We will be returning.

It was a very special occasion, so we had almost everything on the menu. Each dish (and our paired beverages, both alcoholic and not) built on the one before … intense flavor, creative and delicious. The servers obviously love working there and are fabulous. There was a nice buzz from many happy diners around us. Can’t wait to go back!

This was a delightful once-in-a-while treat for my mom and myself. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff friendly, and the bites and tea were delicious. The price for the food though feels disproportionate to what we received, and I had mixed feelings about adding an additional tip for the already hefty price per person. I would love to visit this place more often as the tea selections and overall ambience is excellent, but the cost makes this a once-in-a-blue-moon delight.
