The entire team from start to finish were true to their standards. We sat through a wonderfully whimsical menu that was not only immersive but tantalizingly playful. Exquisite table-side service and beautifully presented plates. Everything we expected and more, chef Fredrik and his team are very well in tune with their menu and knowledge. We will be returning.

Williamsburg
About the restaurant
Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

Nami Nori is a place to share with friends, old and new.

Fantastic food and service. Baked and Burnt spicy vodka rigatoni was fantastic! It was a bit loud but that was the only downside and it didn’t fully take away from the experience

About the restaurant
Italian for 'kisses and hugs', baci&abbracci's Neapolitan-style pizzas and "fresh", "homey" dishes merit the trip on the L. The white-washed walls of this modern Williamsburg trattoria boasts a small bar, while the sun-kissed garden is an "enticing escape." Neighborhood folk love the bread, mozzarella and pasta which are made fresh daily. Your first order of business: Ordering a Peroni or glass of Italian wine. Then dig into belly-warming dishes like calamari, red beet and goat cheese gnocchi, and wood-fired pizzas (Time Out New York's Best New Pizza Joint 2007) . Finish off with the torta della nonna, with custardy sabayon, chocolate cream piping, and crushed, toasted pistachios. As delicious as the food, is the "exceedingly friendly" staff. See us on ABC news!

Great pizza, amazing service, and would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner in the front or even a party, they have a nice room in the back for that. I am very picky so I would definitely give them a good four out of five stars!

One of those rare exceptional course restaurant experiences that remain memorable. The chefs are clearly in it for the passion and genuine love of what they do and share. It’s a ridiculous value for what you get, it would definitely be way more at an equivalent

We had a great meal at Cafe Mars. Food was inventive. Service was very friendly and accommodating, and the decor was fun. (The soundtrack in the bathroom was a surprising and fun touch.) If you're interested in tasty food that pushes boundaries creatively, definitely check it out!
