We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

We had a lovely experience, everyone was really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we could fit in with our double buggy. Great selection of pizzas and drinks. The lasagne bites and truffle mayo were incredible!

Casual date night with hubby in between a rehearsal for a show and going to a gig. Negroni on point and DELICIOUS spring special pizza. Looked fresh and tasted of peas and spring. Thank you to Fatto A Mano for responding to concerns I raised about a visit to another branch when things were very busy due to the pineapples and who sent us a voucher. Such a lovely surprise and has reaffirmed my confidence in the brand. Lovely pillowy pizzas, great cocktails, friendly service and a good vibe!

We arrived late in Brighton and managed to book before the restaurant closed. We were warmly welcomed, and despite that we were the last to leave, never felt rushed or hurried, in fact the team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food was to Bills usual high standard and we would definitely eat here again.
