We started with drinks. I had a wonderful manhattan, one of the best I’ve ever had. Then wine with dinner. The waiter suggested a dry French Rhône red which complimented the meal very well. A plate of olives, grape leaves, hummus with, Greek sauce, artichoke sections. Main course was shrimp and a filet cooked to a perfect medium rare with broccolini. My wife had a cool temperature white wine and a chicken dish with a wonderful sauce. The surrounding tables were having a great time so the atmosphere was joyful. Very nice evening.

Unfortunately, we did not have a great first experience here. While the cocktails were enjoyable and our server was decent, the food left much to be desired. The Caesar salad lacked flavor and was overly watery. The center-cut steak was undercooked—raw in the middle—and when we sent it back, it appeared to be microwaved and still not properly cooked. I really dislike having to complain, but we did express our concerns to our server, who offered a 7% discount. In my opinion, when a main course is inedible, there should be a more thoughtful effort to make things right. Sadly, based on this experience, we’re unlikely to return.

We had espresso martinis which were excellent and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The sauce on the appetizer was excellent and I had the chicken piccata and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Winter Park.

Tables were way too close together, it was pretty uncomfortable. Our waitress was really nice, but perhaps had too many tables assigned to her to serve us in a timely manner. My daughter thought the cheesecake was excellent.
