Excellent burger. I will keep coming back for it.
The food is very good. Most things feel terribly overpriced, but you have to remember you're supporting a great local business, who in turn, supports local farms.
My biggest complaint is that the $74 Wagyu ribeye comes sliced. I am with most top chefs, in the belief that a steak should not be sliced before serving, unless it's an appetizer sized portion. But full disclosure, the steak was so amazing that by the 2nd bite, I had forgiven the chef.
Great food and service. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Dai Due has a wonderful atmosphere and fantastic unique foods.
Wonderful food and service! Everything was perfect.
Amazing, my ribeye didn't need any sauce. I was looking forward to other big game
(Antelope)steak etc... but overall I was very satisfied.
Absolutely incredible! Food, service and ambiance were amazing.
Burger was amazing. All bread products very good as well (sourdough, bun, etc). Main course was so good that dessert fell a little flat. Could've done without the 80s and country music though.
I can’t believe it took me this long to try it. One of my top favorite places in Austin for sure!
My son told us about Dai Due as he also is interested in wild game. The antelope and wagyu beef were delicious! It was also a nice outdoor atmosphere .
I’d highly recommend it!
Amazing food!! We went for our anniversary which was great and our server was awesome. Their fish and chips are totally worth it. Highly recommend!
I can’t get enough of the Wagu burger 🍔! I dream about it. Servers are so friendly. Love the outdoor patio 🧡
Dai Due was a lovely experience. I went with my parents, who were in town to help me move. The person who greeted us upon entering immediately knew my reservation, and we were seated with water glasses ready. We started with some wine that paired nicely with the apps and main dinner. The service was attentive and helpful. I highly recommend dining at Dai Due for any occasion.
First experience with nilgai and will make every effort to eat it again! Dishes prepared with the utmost precision, flavors complex and intriguing, wild game made approachable and delicious.
The one downfall was a waitress that was either overworked or indifferent. For the quality of the restaurant we expected better service.
Always exceptional. The food, the service. Indoors, outdoors. it is always a perfect experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and food at Dai Due and can't wait to go back. At our table of 6, we tried almost everything on the menu and debated what was the best. Hopefully they will open their dining room soon as we dined out side. While they did what they could, it was very warm, no air, and flies. But the food was outstanding so I would sit outside again if I had to!
Great cozy little date spot with awesome service. We had the large pork chop which my partner and I split which was juicy and very flavorful. Definitely not a complaint but we were a little disappointed the menu did not include a larger selection of more exotic game meat entrees for which Dai Due is known, but understand this may have been due to limitations brought upon by the pandemic...again not a complaint :) So happy to have been able to return once again after a long while!
The meats were so good! Have never eaten nilgai before, really tasty.
Dai Due has long been one our our favorite restaurants. They are doing a great job with masking and social distancing. We had the giant pork chop-- it was moist, delicious and melted in my mouth. If you want meat prepared perfectly and a great patio dining experience, Dil Due is it.
We've been planning on trying Dai Due since it first opened. We finally made it to Austin and were not disappointed. All that we had we enjoyed, to varying degrees, which is a perfect experience for us. Truly enjoyable in every way.
Patio seating was great ambiance
Open table allowed me to make a 9:15 reservation though the restaurant closed at 9:30 (unbeknownst to me). We were somewhat excused from dinner by our server after staying for 1.5 hours (and paying a healthy penny), which I did not appreciate.
The food was delicious.
Amazing burger!! Wow! We had a really great time. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining. The wine, sourdough bread with pepper lard, and our sandwiches were very yummy! Thank you
The best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had in my life.
Dai Due is highly recommended for casual dining. Our server was friendly and efficient. The menu is unique and all of our lunch was delicious. We like to support small and locally owned businesses. Dai Due is deserving and we will return frequently.
The food was unbelievably amazing! I will be back many of times
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. This was the best dinner I have had since I can remember. Incredibly affordable for the quality that you get here. Highly recommend any of their pork products.
First time to Dai Due and definitely not the last. Great service and fantastic food. Had a great experience!
Delicious and very much worth the try. Dinner options are filling and flavorful the service is good no complaints the ambiance is okay could be better but the music choice was on point for the place.
I highly recommend the Wagyu burger but everything is delicious. The service is friendly and great and in these COVID times they’re very safe (masks, distanced tables etc). For chillier night each table has its own heater as well.
Absolutely amazing food! I would highly recommend the Sunday brunch!
With COVID guidelines the atmosphere is not as great, but they have made the outside patio a cute area. Please note the outside seating does not accommodate many people so reservations are encouraged to ensure a seat!
Everything from the Antelope lettuce wraps, to the Drum to the Antelope confit to the strawberry torte was outstanding. The only problem we had was that they serve only Texas wines. The idea is that everything served is local/Texas, but for food that good, I'd rather have some good wine to pair! We found a Rose and a Cabernet that were drinkable, but would have preferred a more diverse wine list.
Incredible food. Friendly staff. Lovely outdoor patio. Will absolutely go back.
Great burger and pastrami sandwich!
This was my first “sit down at a restaurant” experience in a year. Although I’ve only been a handful of times, I always consider Dai Due as one of my favorite restaurants because I always have a great experience. I felt comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food, as always, was amazing. Highly recommended.
Outside only dining. Was expecting more care for ambiance considering an $80 per steak menu. The steak was ordered rare, came charred to a crisp over the head of the ribeye- spoiled the best part. The rest of the steak was rare- the fries were cool and soggy. The Appetizer wraps were tasty. The burger was average. Wouldn’t rec and probably won’t return.
Fantastic meal, course after course. The charcuterie trays were awesome, the Waygu burgers fantastic. Excellent variety of wines - tried a few new ones. Our server was super! 👍🏻👍🏻
Fabulous! Highly recommended! We had an amazing experience despite the cold weather on the patio celebrating my partner’s birthday!
Fresh bread, local produce, game meat, preparation all excellent!
My husband and I went here for brunch Sunday morning based on a high recommendation from the bartender at Everly the previous evening. We had gone looking for biscuits and gravy which unfortunately we’re not on the menu but we had the fried chicken and “soup sandwich“ which Were absolutely fantastic. We are looking forward to dining here again and trying other fantastic things on the menu.
