Best Wineries in Crossroads / Freight District / Boulevard

I often weary of reviews, but wanted to weigh in on Plate. I eat out 7 nights a week. Plate is on my “every week” list. Why? I come alone generally, sit at the bar and pick places based on food and congeniality of the bar staff. I used to go to Plate on Sunday night, but switched when Alex quit working Sundays and I moved to Mondays. She is my favorite - always friendly, efficient, and a delight to visit with. The food, management, and staff at Plate are among the most cordial and cool of the all the places on my weekly list. Shout out to Alex!

Fantastic experience. Our server Makenna was friendly and outstanding, providing suggestions including an off menu special that was delicious. Drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all great. The manager checked in and each server delivering food to us or nearby did so with a smile. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

This was my first experience here and I brought my mother to enjoy it with me. We sat on the patio and it was so beautiful and it was the perfect setting. We were served by Sarah and she was wonderful, she let us take our time and talked us through the menu. She even helped me get signed up for a Sweet Club wine membership! Definitely coming back and seeing what more you guys have to offer!

We had a fabulous graduation dinner and wine tasting at Cooper’s Hawk! Cameron always gives us excellent service and we always ask for him!
