Antica Trattoria is consistently delicious and reliable - a neighborhood gem and a La Mesa standout. Our recent dinner experience was no exception. The lasagna was fantastic, as was my dinner companion’s seafood linguine. It is always impressive when the owner is present - in this case mixing drinks at the bar! - ensuring top-notch quality. Can’t wait to return.

Come here regularly, and the experience evolves everytime, from ambience to food and service. If you’ve been here before, they have a new menu for summer. It is clear that ingredients are always fresh and play a distinct role in every dish. Managers and owners come by to make sure the experience is enjoyable, which it always is. Definitely will continue to dine here.

First time dining at this place. Nice, quiet and quaint place in Lemon Grove! Inside has limited seating but the patio is perfect for spring and summer for wine and charcuterie nights. Food was amazing! We had the steak, lamb chops and chicken Parmesan. For wine try Quest Cabernet. We were served by the owner himself and very knowledgeable when it comes to wine! We will be back!
