AquaSan was delicious! Absolutely an upgrade from the late Aquagrille, which was still very good. Had been waiting for them to reopen, and made a reservation as soon as I realized it was open. Particularly slow giving that it was a Monday in the summer, and the weather was abysmal, and hopefully it gains more traction in light of the season. Beautifully decorated. Menu is interesting in that it is a mod podge of smaller plates, many of which you can buy by the piece. Extremely quick turn around for the food, clearly have an organized assembly team in the back. The Gyoza (tacos with tequila) with the ahi tuna was delicious, the steak tartare was particularly yummy, especially with the crispy rice base. The forbidden rice was full of flavor and texture. The General Tsos Sando had a very pretty ube waffle bun, and not too sweet sticky sauce, and a golden fried chicken thigh. The blue crab soup was very light, and preserved the delicate flavor of crab without being overly “fishy”. Brussels sprouts were crunchy and sweet, and the local catch (wahoo) sashimi was very complex and interesting. Notes of licorice and very fresh. The Peking duck empanada was the only thing that missed, as the cherry jubilee sauce was sickeningly sweet, although duck was cooked nicely. Will definitely be back to try most other things on the menu! Didn’t get dessert but the Condensed milk bars given as a small bite with the check were CRAZY. Reminded me of a cookie my nana used to make when I was a child. Highly recommend, great for parties as the drinks are both outrageous and delicious, all coming in wonky cups with a plethora of decor.

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary here and it was nothing short of amazing! The chefs were so fun and the staff was great! Recommend for all sushi lovers to go! Such a fun experience and we can’t wait to go back!!
